Day trip from Faliraki to Symi with fastboat. - Recommended! Nice day! Full day boat trip from Faliraki to Symi. Reservations are a must, because it was full (in high season more than a day in advance). Booked on the beach at a hut at Hotel Apollo the day before. Started on the day itself from Apollo hotel. Small 'Greek Delay', but we had all day, so no problem, relax. Because the water was too shallow, you are first driven to Olympus by coach (5 minutes by bus) and there you get on the boat. Very safe boat. Everything was well taken care of in terms of getting on and off. After a short stopover in the port of Rhodes Town (picking up passengers only) to Symi. Nice trip of about 45 minutes. The wind cools the crossing nicely. Nice view. 2.5 hours in Symi, beautiful town, time to stroll, shop and have a drink or lunch. Then we sailed to a beautiful bay near Symi, and had a wonderful 30-minute swim in cool water. Because Symi city itself is very hot. Good stairs to easily get in/out of water. Back in Faliraki at 5:30 PM. Very nice day. Definitely worth the money! Recommended!

Fantastic - High fun factor on the boat. Very idyllic location on the mountain on Symi. A beautiful, secluded, dreamy bay for swimming. Overall, well worth seeing.

Memorable experience - Spent an amazing day visiting Symi island. The boat was fast and comfortable, the staff very professional and the toilets super clean. The hour to get to Symi island passed quickly and my friend and I spent 3 hours exploring the island which has many boutique shops and lovely tavernas with fresh fish. Lots to see around the little back streets. Back on the boat for 3pm. On the way back had a stop over at st Georges bay in the crystal clear waters. You can swim to shore and visit the little chapel of St George and get acquainted with the goats on the bay! Beautiful, chilling experience and thoroughly enjoyable day out. We were back in town at around 5pm. Highly recommend.

Kolymbia to Symi and St George’s Bay 10/10 - Amazing day trip to Symi Island. 28-33 age couple. Boat collected us from Kolymbia Port and went to Symi Island. The boat stops at Rhodes City and lets people off. Total length from Kolymbia to Symi is approx 1.75 hours. You then get 3 hours to do what you want around Symi - we thought this time was good and we had lunch, ice creams, and had a gorgeous swim in the Symi waters. Boat then departs at 3pm and takes 20 mins ish to take you to St George’s Bay where you get a 30 min swim. Be mindful, you have to jump off the boat/ dive into the sea, it doesn’t take you up to the sand, so you would miss out on this gorgeous swim time if you haven’t got your swim wear or cannot swim. You can dive / jump off the front which is a fairly big jump or there is ladders at the back of the boat. They also have noodle floats for people to use. We then set back off via Rhodes Old Town again. All in all we were out for 8 hours, we had a great day! Much preferred this as opposed to the guided tours tour see where you have to follow a group all day. The boat staff were great, you can buy cheap drinks on board such as water, fizzy and beer. Would recommend definitely.

Great trip - Amazing trip, very professional staff, would’ve been better if they could anchor closer to the beach by St George bay for non swimmers .

A beautiful place to visit. - Booked this as a party of 8 consisting of family and friends, ages ranging from 4 to 50’s. The boat trip there and back was well organised and went very smoothly. Symi is a beautiful place to visit and there’s some lovely little streets to explore away from the harbour. Don’t be afraid to walk up any of the steps you get to, if they lead to a house turn around and go back down. The locals were lovely and friendly that I met along the way. Called at George’s Bay on the way back to snorkel. A swim to the beach is worth it to see the goats, and just to say you did it. If you’re not a very confident swimmer there was a lady handing out buoyancy aids which both adults and children were using. Didn’t see many fish while snorkelling, but the water is deep and crystal clear. A day out which we all enjoyed.

Lovely excursion - especially swim stop - lovely excursion we loved Symi, especially the swim stop. We got sick on us from passenger so this meant we had to dock a star otherwise it would have been a 5/5

Simi - Great way to visit simi Island, beware very windy especially if you sit at the front. For me would have rather had longer in Simi than the 30 min stop off for a swim on way back

Symi is a real must see trip from Rhodes! - Symi is an incredibly beautiful place and island. Both ST. George Bay and Symi herself were beautiful. The swimming stop of about 30 minutes is very short for this beautiful place, you have to take a photo, jump in and almost immediately get back on board. The cooling was nice after a windless Symi and approximately 32 degrees. The trip is definitely recommended, we were kindly received on the beach of the Apollo beach hotel. Then a 5 minute bus ride to the end of Faliraki due to... the sailing depth of the boat. The only real downside: that there were fellow travelers who pushed ahead, occupied places, etc. etc. Otherwise excellent organization.
