Choose this amazing tour - Amazing and highly recommended. The Golden Temple tour was detailed. I went the day before on my own and missed SO much. We toured the langar kitchens and met the man in charge. The many areas and customs explained in detail. Lunch was at a very popular restaurant. I was able to enjoy the winter only sarson ka sag with makki ki roti. The guide was with me the whole time; I always felt safe and comfortable. The boarder crossing (I thought about skipping) was so much fun; excitement, music, ladies dancing; like a parade: carnival. I’m glad I attended. I felt attended to and like a friend. Please go with a private guide. Please ask questions and be tip generous. I’m thankful I met a friend for life.

A Window to India - Fantastic tour of Amritsar, including the rich history, religion, and politics of the area. Our day included the Golden Temple, the site of the Amritsar Massacre with its museum, a museum explaining partition, lunch in a local restaurant, and finally the military exhibition at the Wagah border between India and Pakistan. Our knowledgeable guide made all the difference, keeping up a running commentary and welcoming our questions throughout the day. AMAZING AMRITSAR Trip - "Travel India with Peace" - This was the highlight of our trip to India. Although we saw many amazing places in India, Amritsar exceeded all our expectations. In large part this was due to the incredible service provided by our tour guide, Amandeep Singh. He and his company, Travel India With Peace, made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. He knew the history of Punjab inside and out, was very personable and genuinely excited about sharing his love of the city and its attractions. I had visited Amritsar previously but he showed us areas and attractions that I never knew existed. He knew the best picture locations and took many pictures of our family that we will cherish forever. Eventhough our flight was delayed amost 4 hours by fog, he greeted us at the airport with fresh flowers. He rescheduled our entire visit to accommodate the flight delay and we saw everything we wanted to. The Wagah Border Crossing Ceremony, Day and Night tours of the Golden Temple, laser light show at Gobind Garh Fort, Durgiana Temple tour, and even shopping time were able to all be worked in. He and the incredible driver understood time to travel and our desires for photographs and history. We simply cannot recommend him highly enough. When we return to India, I will seek his company out to discuss tours in other cities. His ability to find "Hdden Gems" like the areial view of the Golden Temple, and visiting the last village at the border truly set this experience apart from any other. Great experience - Guide Ravish was excellent. He communicated well, flexible to adjust to our requirements. He ensured the trip was planned well. Biggest Plus was we're able to visit & pray at Golden temple. Total cost for two people was at 25k(12.5k/pax), it's on the higher side for similar day trips in India.
