Fabulous Tour!!! - We just really enjoyed this tour! Our tour guides and bus driver were incredibly nice. The scenery of each city is out of this world. Me and my son highly recommend this tour! Thank you Diana, Lara, and Gerrard! You were amazing Gerrard :)

Worth it - The most memorable part was seeing that the windmill was functional and seeing the clogs being made and being able to taste and buy the various cheeses.

Great time on the tour! - I had done the tour before but this was my husband’s first time. We had a lovely day! The guides were great, ours were fun. Just wish we had a bit longer to stay in each stop.

Review Windmill, Volendam, Markem - Enjoyed trip, very informative. Tour guide spoke both in English and Spanish making it a little hard to follow. Had a little trouble with when and where to meet up after free time periods.

Rushed/ Wrong time - The tour was nice. We really did enjoy it. Liked the cheese and clog demonstration. Similar to other reviews it felt a little rushed. There should be more time at each place. Viator has the wrong time for the tour. It is a hour longer than what they have listed. It almost cost us our visit to the Van Gogh museum since we were going to miss our entrance time. Luckily they were understanding and let us come late.

Nice, but too crowded. - Seeing the windmills was nice, but so crowded. Our tour had approximately 70 people, so going into tiny rooms for demonstrations didn't work very well. Our tour guides tried to make it as comfortable as possible with that many people. I was so disappointed in Marken, as I really wanted to see the wooden shoe demonstration, but it was so crowded in there that I couldn't see at all.

Wouldn’t book - I had reached out to my tour guide numerous times to no response and could not find the location since it wasn’t specific. Tour left without me and now this company won’t refund, very unhappy

Crowded, rushed, and not worth money or time - Our group experience was much like a previous reviewer's...rushed and ridiculous. The two-story bus was fairly comfortable, however the recorded commentary on the bus was played at the wrong times and led to questionable information that had no bearing on what we were seeing. Very confusing. Too bad, because it was a missed opportunity to easily provide good information and improve the experience. It appeared that multiple tours were on the bus, with some people having a full tour and others not, which also got confusing with people not being sure where to go or when. The guides failed to provide sufficient information about timing available at various locations, and where to meet and when. If you didn't ask specifically, you would end up being left behind. If you needed to use the WC, that would potentially encompass the entire tour stop, or you would risk being left behind. Rather than being able to actually enjoy Zaanse Schans, there is a long walk out to a windmill for a quick demonstration, and then you are allowed barely 15 minutes to hike back to the bus, with no time to actually explore or enjoy Zaanse Schans - none of which was explained in the tour information or by the guides. Everywhere we went was a very crowded rush, rush, rush! And the crowd was not because of other tourists at the stops...it was because of the huge volume in the tour group! Way too many people on this tour led to several people not being able to see the demonstrations or being blocked out of having time to enjoy the stops or purchase items. If I were the tourist stops on these tours, I'd wonder what value the tours are bringing to the shops where people don't have time to make any purchases and are instead whisked away as quickly as possible. In Marken, after the clog-making demonstration, the guides immediately took off and dashed around a corner without warning, leaving anyone behind who didn't see them leave. If we hadn't have been watching to make sure our entire group was present and made another guide wait for us, people would have been left behind in the clog factory not know where to find the boat dock that was quite a walk away and not within sight of anything. Crazy. In Volendam, the cheese making demonstration was basic. The massive size of the tour group made the trek upstairs to the cheese tasting terribly crowded and unpleasant. Although we enjoyed the cheese until we saw kids in the group grabbing handfuls of the samples, handling them and then putting them back in the tasting bowls...gross!!! Thankfully, we were forewarned about the guide "recommending" the restaurant in Volendam (and obviously getting a commission) and instead ate somewhere else and had a relatively pleasant and uncrowded experience. We actually only booked this tour because our previously-booked tour canceled at the last minute. We thought this might be an adequate replacement, but it was a waste of a day and money. Wish we had just skipped the whole thing. This tour is very much a cattle call - too many people, barely any time to see anything, rushed and ridiculous. Don't waste your time or money. Read less
