We meet in front of the stock exchange on the 'Stock Exchange Square' (Beurplein 5), which is located on the wide road between Central Station and Dam Square called Damrak. Your guide will be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour holding a big yellow umbrella.

Great historical tour and overview of the city - We took the tour with Annelika who did an amazing job! She was so friendly and informative and made the 2.5 hours pass so quickly. I appreciated how she told the history of the city through the lens of Amsterdam’s progressive culture but also how that history included enslavement in the colonies and capitalism. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the city. I don’t think we would have seen parts of the city on our own.

Amazing experience! - Dani was such an amazing guide, my only complaint is that I didn’t book this sooner! He was not only very informative, but super entertaining and had a bunch of stories that painted a great picture of Amsterdam and dutch culture. Highly recommend booking, especially since it’s a tip-based tour - there’s no harm in trying it and you can pay the amount you find appropriate!

Fantastic tour provided by Ramses - Ramses was a fantastic tour guide. He really brought the city of Amsterdam to life for me personally with his interesting and enjoyable stories and explanations based on his in-depth knowledge of the city. He was very approachable, helpful and patient in answering questions and giving insightful recommendations for things to do and see in Amsterdam. Top class!

The best walking tour I’ve ever been on. - Took a walking tour with Dani and it was nothing short of amazing. His perspective as a local, storytelling, and infusion of just the right amount of history kept us captivated and left us feeling like we’ve known Amsterdam for years. The 2.5 hour tour flew by.

Great way to spend the morning - especially if this is your first visit to Amsterdam! - Had the pleasure of taking the tour with Sergio. Free Walking Tour in Amsterdam - Great tour with guide Nina who showed us around Amsterdam. Had a wonderful time and was extremely knowledgeable, easily answering all questions. Her background in museum really gave her tour extra depth which everyone appreciated. Also happy to give out some personalised recommendations at the end of the tour which is always invaluable
