Our gathering spot is the Cobra Cafe at Museumplein. Your tour leader will have your pass to the museum. At the tour commencement time, the leader will head for the Rijksmuseum with the group. Attendees who are tardy will forfeit their pass at that instant since the museum operates on precise timings.
Upon completion of the two-hour guided expedition within the Rijksmuseum, you’re invited to remain for as long as desired. You can unwind at the cafe or continue admiring the artistic masterpieces.

The guide holds your entrance tickets, so you need to meet him at the meeting point. He will leave the meeting point at the starting time of the tour and after that it is no longer possible to join the tour.

Dutch Art & History - great experience & tour with Martinas - Our guide Martinas was very knowledgeable and by concentrating on specific works and pointing out the techniques employed by various artists she brought the overwhelming aspect of the museum's collection down to a comfortable and comprehensible level.

Excellent tour for those who are not into this - Definitely worth it even for someone who is not much into this.
The tour guide Mr. Goose Van der Leij was knowledgeable, honest, kind and patient. He explained things in a way that made it interesting for us. Our two kiddos who were 6 and 8 did the entire 2 hours or so with no issues. We were 5 adults and two kids. The entire group was 11 of us for the tour.
Recommend doing a tour guide and as early as possible like we did. It’s gets busy and crowded later.
The museum is clean and neat including the toilets.
The lockers are great and free. Not sure if we paid for them as part of our tour guide package.
Walk a block or and you have places to grab a bite. There is a nice coffee shop in the museum as well. But it does get full pretty quickly.

Fabulous art tour , and guide! - Loved our tour through this famous art museum, our guide was Wibe and he was so learned, spoke clearly and guided us through the most important aspects of the Dutch artists. The Vermeer and Rembrandt originals were beyond wonderful! This was a fabulous tour thank you!

Hit the highlights; pointed out unique points - Wybe was very knowledgeable, engaging sense of humor and used to handling crowds. We thought our group was distracting going on tangents but Wybe handled it well. We were glad to have him show the highlights of the museum and give the history and connections behind the art.
