Additional Information

Every year millions of people travel to Amsterdam to see where the Frank family hid from the Nazis. In this tour, we walk part of the route Anne took on her journey to the hiding place.

Travelling back in time to Amsterdam of WWII, we’ll experience Anne’s emotions during the dark days of the war. Using words from her diary, we will learn about Anne, the ‘secret annex’ & what she saw from her refuge.

The tour ends in a cafe where you will have a drink & enter the Secret Annex via the magic of a virtual reality recreation (made by the Anne Frank Foundation). Entering through the bookcase into the hiding place you’ll see that unlike the actual house, the VR house has the furniture in place, giving a feel of how it was to live there in 1942-44.

There’s no crowds, you have the virtual house to yourself to explore at your own pace. We believe this is as close to the real thing as you can get, without stepping foot in the house. Ideal for those who can’t get tickets or access to the Annex

Amazing tour - Great way to see Amsterdam and learn about World War II. Tour guide (Kees) was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. The VR experience was a perfect substitute for the Anne Frank house.

Anne Frank’s Last Walk Tour - Thank you Kees for an amazing tour. Your knowledge of the history and personal anecdotes were so informative! I loved all the information. Going to the cafe for the virtual realty experience was fun and the only real way to see what the annex looked like when the family lived there.

Not to be missed - Fantastic tour with Kaes. Yes like others we didn’t get tickets to Anne Frank’s house but this was that but with so much more. Anne Frank’s story was at the centre of the tour but the tour gave context to her story and told us so much more. Add on the (museum endorsed) VR experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book this.

Amazing technology to complement the tour. - We had a great time. Our Guide was very knowledgable and passionate about the story. We learnt a lot. The virtual reality tour was excellent. It was of the flat they hid in for 25 months before they were betrayed, where Anne actually wore her diary, complete with furniture. Very realistic. Would recommend it.
