A great way to explore beautiful back country in winter - Had a fantastic day with Matt in the backcountry of the Chugach mountains just outside of Anchorage. We had great luck with the weather, with super clear skies and incredible visibility, and trekked over 6 miles and around 1,400 feet of elevation. Matt took additional photos to share, was very friendly, and found interesting spots to check out, ultimately spotting a moose as well. It was great exercise and a way to safely explore an area I had no past experience with, and would recommend to anyone interested in a little adventure with gorgeous scenery.

Beautiful hike, awesome guide - I had an absolutely amazing time on the snowshoeing adventure! Matt was a lot of fun, knew a lot about the area, and wanted to make sure we were all having as much fun as he was! I would definitely do this again and plan to do some of his summer activities when I’m back in Alaska!
