Nice half day jaunt around anchorage.e - Lovely half day tour around the city of Anchorage. Our guide Allison was very knowledgeable and Just over all pleasant. Fun to hear about her own life growing up in Alaska. Great scenery and a couple of nice shopping stops. Highly recommend.

Recommended Anchorage tour for photos, some shopping stops and food tastings. - Donna was our guide on this approximately 4 hour tour that hit all the Anchorage highlights plus shopping stops. I found the tour most enjoyable especially with our guide who has been a local for decades. Can't go wrong with this tour unless you wish to avoid any shopping stops.

Enjoyable and informative. - Very interesting and enjoyable tour with Donna as the driver and guide. We visited many key sites in Anchorage, along with a few of commercial interest, but still, key businesses in Anchorage. Would certainly highly recommend this tour.

Go Alison. - We had a great time and Alison was a great tour guide, she made you feel welcome and very special. We saw a lot of things we wouldn’t not have seen on our own. Coming from Australia it’s great to feel welcomed.

Highlights and history with flair - Donna was fantastic, she gave us a tour that covered the highlights of Anchorage while adding in her own personal perspective based upon 50 years in Alaska. She offered up not only what was covered in the tour but provided plenty of recommendations for other Anchorage highlights and pitstops.

Underwhelming - This tour was underwhelming. The guide was fine. The stops were ok. However, we stopped for photos just one time and it was in a poor spot. So many beautiful turn offs and yet we stopped behind trees and with not much to view. The guide was highly interested in animals instead of scenic area for photos. We spent too much time looking at sea planes and learning all about them. Which to me was irrelevant. The chocolate gift shop was good. The sausage and fish tasting was not what I expected but it was fine. The knife stop was boring with an inexperienced person. All in all, disappointed with the experience.

Mostly tourist stores, not downtown Anchorage - I found this tour to be a sequence of stops at tourist retail traps. We drove around a bit outside of downtown Anchorage and drove out on the highway to get some mountain views. This trip was not about downtown Anchorage, included no historical information or sites, and most of the time was spent inside touristy stores.

Terrible tour - This was the absolute worst tour. The entire tour was designed to get us to buy things. Our first stop was the Hulu knife factory. The first words out of the mouth of the store clerk was the price of the knives. She was unable to answer basic questions about the history of the knives what it made from etc. Another problem with this tour was that Fonna seemed to have no plan regarding restrooms. About 1.5 hours I asked about a restroom and then many others also expressed an interest. She had no idea where to go. We ended up at a disgusting Porto potty. This was a waste of time and money. Nothing historical. All about sales. My husband complained to viator and never received a response.
