- 2217 E Tudor Rd - Our Aurora Borealis aka Northern Light excursions have an award winning professional photographer working with you to get that ultimate picture of a lifetime. You will also get personalized photographic instructions at no additional cost! Just that alone will pay for this trip and more. We don’t rush like the others as our trips typically last 8 to 10 hours. Our trips are geared from the young to the young-at-heart. All of our locations are wheelchair accessible so we can accommodate most everyone.
We subscribe to several paid subscription services to track the Aurora Forecast for best viewing probability, weather/cloud conditions, as well as the locations for viewing them. Mother Nature is always the one in control of the lights and there is never a guarantee that the lights will show.
If there is less than a 30% chance of seeing the lights we will cancel the trip and issue a full refund. From a 30-70% chance of seeing the lights, the customer has the option to either, cancel for full refund or continue with the trip. At 70% or higher of seeing the lights the trip will continue with no chance for refund. We have a very high success rate!

This excursion only operates between September 1st and April 15th, exclusively during the winter season. The primary attraction of this journey is the mesmerizing view of the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. This spectacle of nature offers awe-inspiring vistas that you’ll never forget. Your experiences and photographic keepsakes from this trip will be truly unforgettable. The pace of our trips is leisurely, not rushed, as we enjoy immersing ourselves in the beauty of the lights too! You’ll have hours of entertainment, engaging conversation, and also learn how to capture the lights through your lens.
For optimal photography of the Northern Lights, we recommend a DSLR camera with a lens that can go to at least f/2.8 18-35mm, and a robust tripod. You can take photos with a smartphone as well, however, a DSLR camera will yield better results owing to its time exposure capabilities. The conditions can get extremely cold (below zero), hence it’s essential to wear layers suitable for the weather and carry an extra camera battery, for cold weathers tend to drain batteries rapidly.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
