- Lagoa Das Patas - The Lagoa das Patas [Duck Lake] Forest Reserve is in the interior of Terceira Island and gets its name from a beautiful artificial lake, fed by the water flowing from the Serra de Santa Bárbara range. The lake is surrounded by azaleas, hydrangeas and other bushes and trees. A recreational park was created from a small wood of Japanese red cedar, so that visitors can enjoy the spot in comfort.

Well worth it. Not to be missed - Algar do Carvao well worth the time. Even though a windy rainy day it is not too bad in volcano cave and something not to be missed.

Fabulous experience-highly recommend! - Our guide Felipa took us to 4 very different locations on the island; a beautiful above ground park, an area of thermal vents, inside a lava tube and inside a volcano. It was amazing. Felipa was knowledgeable and experienced and added so much to our experience. She guided us through some areas and left us to explore on our own in others--always ready to answer questions and add tidbits to the experience. What an amazing afternoon! Highly recommend!

Land tour with the jeep ride to see Terceira Island - We had a full day tour in Terceir Island with Antonio ( our tour guide) from the Pro Island tour. He was amazing person n very friendly. He is also quite knowledgeable about the history. We had a great time visiting the Algar de Cavao n the natural pool with roaring waves. These two sites are magnificent n a must to see if you visit Azores, Portugal ( Terceira Island). The rainy days didn't dampen our enthusiasm at all.

What a nice moment! - Felipe is a really nice person, we had a wonderful time with hilm! And we were alone during the trip, so it helped a lot to talk and learn even more on Terceira! I strongly recommend to do this tour and then do other walks by yourself for hiking or else. Best

Best day of our Terceira stay - Phillipe our guide, was amazing, switching between 3 languages and keeping it fun. So knowledgeable and told us loads about the island and its history too. Highly recommend this trip

Horrible - It’s not wow! 10€ entry to see just one hole in 2 minutes is a lot to pay...I advise you to go to Zakynthos instead where the landscapes and caves are breathtaking and free.
