Fun Fishing Experience - We were picked up from our hotel promptly, and drove a short way to the dock. There, we met Captain Manny, who had everything ready on the boat. We had a sunny day with calm water, and just the boat ride was beautiful. Manny baited our hooks with shrimp and pieces of squid, and we started catching fish right away. My husband and I each caught about 20 fish over the course of 3 hours. We caught Blacktail comber, Axillary Seabream, large scaled scorpion fish, ballan wrasse and a little puffer fish. My husband also caught some kind of sting ray. We threw the little ones back, but kept several. Manny was helpful and patient. When we lost a hook, or got snagged on a weed, he calmly fixed it and got us set up again. He was playing Portuguese radio music, which was fun, and offered us both beers. Manny then arranged for us to have a few of the fish brought to a restaurant and prepared for us, which was delicious. (We did have to pay for it.) We had previously done a deep sea fishing charter for tuna, and got seasick, but we did not feel sick at all on this trip! Overall, it was a great day!

Best day in a long time! - This was an amazing experience! Our captain was very attentive with everything we needed help with, and you could tell he had a lot of experience navigating the boat. We got loads of different fish and after the tour he delivered it to a restaurant in the marina where we got it prepared for us. Delicious!
