Choosing us for a tour around Angra do Heroísmo is a wise decision. We offer a twelve-kilometer tour around the city, letting you see around 30 points of historical and cultural interest in this World Heritage city. You’ll be able to experience the rich history and culture of the city, with our audio guide available in five languages: Portuguese, English, French, German, and Spanish. The tour begins at Alto das Covas, leading into Silveira Bay, through Fanal Bay, and onto Monte Brasil. From there, we enter the São João Batista Castle and make a stop at the Pico das Cruzinhas viewpoint. We’ll then move into the heart of the city, stopping at Pátio da Alfândega. Our journey continues towards the city’s highest point, journeying past the Bullring and the Monument to the Bull before arriving at the Obelisk of Memory. From there, we descend back into the city and conclude the tour where we started. You’ll enjoy these sights in a vehicle equipped with a retractable panoramic roof, ensuring your comfort and safety throughout.

Fun and informative walk - For visitors who do not want to spend 3 hours on a cultural walking tour in a group and with a guide (or who cannot walk or with difficulty), this option is entirely suitable.
With an average duration of 1h30 to 2h, it allows a synthetic panoramic tour of the city including Monte Brasil, while providing some historical information (the audiophone allows you to choose your language, including French which is rarely spoken by the guides) . This gives a good first overview of the city's centers of interest and then possibly go there on foot alone the following days (Cathedral, Duque de Terceira Garden, Palacio dos Capitaes, Angra Museum, Military Museum, Convento de Sao Gonçalo, Food market Duke of Bragança...)
Do not hesitate to ask Filipe questions, he will be happy to give you additional information
For history buffs who want a more complete visit, it may be preferable to choose a guided walking tour of the city (much longer)
Just know how to choose the formula that suits you best. For my part, this one has a lot more for me

Open air bus tour Angra do Heroisimo - Our city tour with Phillips was enhanced by his wealth of knowledge of the history of Angro do Heroisimo and his love of the city. Touring in the open air bus enhanced the experience and made for a relaxing, educational and totally enjoyable tour. Phillips is the perfect guide!

A Bird's Eye View of a Fascinating City - THE best tour we have ever taken!!
We were the only people on the tour given by the owner of the company who has a passion for history and a deep pride of country. We came away not just learning facts but gaining understanding of the beautiful island of Terceira.

Amazing - A great introduction to Angra do Heroismo — and Filipe proved to be equally knowledgeable and engaging when he offered commentary in addition to what was recorded on his bus’s system.

FANTASTIC / OUTSTANDING / EXCELLENT/ 2nd to NONE!!! - What was the best part of the tour? Easy!! The Entire Tour!! Filipe really makes this 'THE TOUR OF ANGRA"! And don't forget, Angra is a UNESCO Site! Beautiful city with hundreds of years of history! Do not Pass this Tour by!! I loved it and look forward to another OUTSTANDING TOUR with AZORBUS and Filipe!! The Best!!

Wonderful Tour in a wonderful town! - After taking a full day tour with Azorbus, which was absolutely great, we decided to explore Angra do Heroísmo with them as well.
Filipe was very informative and always made sure we were comfortable.
It's very easy to see his love for his island and town.
Angra is breathtaking, but isn't just a beautiful city...
it was very interesting to realize how much important it has been through the centuries..
We loved the experience. I totally recommend you to visit the sights with this company!

A must do when in Angra - You have to do this tour right when you get to town. Guide was so informative and passionate about his islands history. We fell in love with this island then and will be back.

A Breathtaking Must! - The tour of the city was an emotional experience. The beauty and history accompanied with the lovely and warm welcome from our driver, Filipe and our guide, Filipa, made for a truly extraordinary experience.
