Incredible day on Terciera - Highly recommend you invest in this private tour of Terciera Island. Antonio or our guide was extremely knowledgeable and affable, and made for the most incredible day. His English is impeccable, his sense of humor fantastic, and his car and driving outstanding . There is so much to see on this island, such a rich history, that you can’t possibly attempt to equal this experience on your own without a knowledgeable guide, which made for the most enjoyable day. Lunch was especially delicious and I can’t rate this private tour high enough

Superb private Terceira Island Full Day Tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our all day tour of Terceira with Antonio. He picked us up at our hotel exactly on time and shared his knowledge of the island during the full day that he spent with us. He had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the island, and stories to tell about each of the many sites to which he took us. When we wanted to do something slightly different than planned--visiting the fumaroles that were near the volcano we visited--he was very accommodating. We would highly recommend his day-long tour to anyone interested in enjoying exploration of Terceira. It was a great introduction to the island.

5 star Terceira island tour won’t disappoint! - Antonio was superb! He was knowledgeable well beyond our expectations and provided a tremendous amount of history that enriched our full day excursion. My wife and I were delighted with every aspect of the trip. Antonio was also very prompt, polite and genuinely concerned that the tour include all of our planned venues with a rich history provided not only at each stop, but also in between venues. Additionally, he was able to quite ably accommodate special requests to see my local ancestor’s town. The late model, custom designed Mercedes-Benz van was delightfully easy to enter and exit, was quite spacious and clean inside and out and had fabulous large windows allowing full view of the island route. We could not have been more pleased with this perfect gentleman’s very well-run business. You will not be disappointed! Also enjoy the lunch that includes a generous local beef preparation cooked for hours next to smoldering wood and served at a local restaurant for lunch!

We saw and enjoyed SO MUCH of Terceira - My sister and I had such a great day with Antonio :) He is incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything Terceira and was open to all of our silly questions and whatever we wanted to do throughout the day! Lunch was fantastic and the cheese tasting to top it all of was icing on the cake. Anyone who doesn’t get a tour with him is missing out on everything this island has to offer!

An amazing day with Antonia! - Our day spent touring Terciera with Antonio was one of the high points of our Azores trip. He was friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and basically awesome! Antonio showed up at our hotel at the appointed time in his immaculate Mercedes van. He gave us an overview of our day, allowing our input, and provided water for us to drink. We saw some really interesting historic sights, as well as some beautiful natural scenes. The high point, of course was Algar do Carvao volcano tunnel. We had a delicious lunch and learned so much about Terciera's past and current times. Highly, highly recommend. Antonio makes you feel like you are an old friend that you have known forever. A day well spent.

Excellent all day tour - highly recommend! - Wonderful full day tour with Antonio ! Started in the morning and covered a lot of ground but at a relaxing and enjoyable pace. Saw so many great sights, learned about local culture and history. Lunch was fantastic and the views spectacular. Highly recommend this private tour!!

Fun private tours with a knowledgeable and personable guide. - We were 3 friends with a limited amount of time to see this beautiful island. Antonio planned a perfect private tour for us taking into account the weather for optimal viewing. He knows his history, has phenomenal knowledge of the fauna and flora and a great sense of humor. We had so much fun. After that, we had an extra half day - which we ended up booking with him based on our preferences. We got to tour a local family owned coffee plantation and sat and talked with the owners over coffee and liqueurs.

Brilliant interesting experience, fantastic guide - Fantastic private tour with our guide Antonio. Very well planned so we saw the highlights of this beautiful island with a fantastic lunch at the Rocha restaurant overlooking the sea. Antonio was a joy to be with so much fascinating local knowledge about the islands history and it's people. We would thoroughly recommend this trip especially if only have a short stay on the island with little time to explore yourself!! Thank you Antonio!!

Excellent island tour - Antonio gave us an exceptionally beautiful day on Terceira. Perfectly organized, from the pick-up to a well-thought-out route, he provided us with all the information we needed about history, geology, nature, and everyday life. He also patiently answered questions on all sorts of topics. A delicious lunch and a cheese tasting at the end of the tour crowned the whole thing. Absolutely and unreservedly recommended!
