We will travel to the ongoing archaeological dig at Göbekli Tepe. Although this site is not widely known it is one of the most important archaeological excavations currently being undertaken anywhere – this site represents a significant shift in our understanding of man’s cultural evolution.

In Şanlıurfa (Urfa), you’ll be greeted by our representative. We will journey to the currently active archaeological site at Göbekli Tepe. The importance of this less-known site is quite significant in global archaeology. It’s resources have greatly impacted our comprehension of human culture’s development.
We will proceed back to Şanlıurfa, and tour Şanlıurfa Archeological and Mosaic Museum, the biggest museum of its kind in Turkey. We’ll also explore the Pools of Abraham and a cave which according to local tradition, is the birthplace of the Prophet Abraham.
Finally, we’ll arrange for your transfer to the Şanlıurfa airport.
