Highlights
  • Devil’s Bridge - The Devil’s Bridge is an impressive example of marine erosion. Geologically, Devil’s Bridge is a natural arch formed by the ocean’s sculpting of both soft and hard limestone strata of the Antigua formation, a geological feature of the flat northeastern section of Antigua.
  • Nelson’s Dockyard - Nelson’s Dockyard stands as the largest of Antigua’s National Parks and continues to operate as a functional dockyard for a variety of yachts and ships. The dockyard has been meticulously restored to its 18th and 19th-century glory, with the historic buildings now accommodating contemporary facilities such as shops, hotels, and marina services.
  • English Harbour - Charming harbourside eatery offering open-air dining along the waterfront. The menu caters to a wide range of palates.
  • Shirley Heights - A prime spot for photography!
  • Fig Tree Drive - Fig Tree Drive meanders through Antigua’s verdant landscape, including rainforests and towering banana plants, which the locals refer to as figs. Roadside stalls are abundant with native fruit offerings, so make sure to stop for some mango or black pineapple. En route, you’ll encounter zipline adventures and, eventually, a selection of beaches at the drive’s conclusion.
  • Darkwood Beach - Darkwood Beach boasts some of the most luminous waters and pristine white sands on the island, nestled against a backdrop of rolling hills and lush tropical greenery; the vistas are both expansive and breathtaking. On days when the sky is clear, the silhouette of Montserrat is visible. As one of the island’s longest beachfronts, there’s plenty of room to soak in the scenery, and with the inviting warm sea washing over unspoiled sands, there are countless reasons to make a visit!

Excellent trip - The trip was amazing and beyond my expectation. Our small group of 3, another lady, her mother and myself, were picked up in our respective hotels and our driver&guide George was so considerate and experienced. He adjusted the arrangement and pace of the tour according to our needs and he introduced a lot, not only about the scenary but also about the local life. The driving time between scenary spots were filled with joy and ease. I used to be carsick but I didn't feel it in the trip. I highly recommond this trip if it's your first land visit to Antigua.

Scenic Tour of Antigua - Excellent trip, taking in a number of key sites on the island. We were joined by a young American couple and their eight month old son, who slept through most of it! Our driver and guide Lyonel was very friendly and informative. He even made a little detour to allow me to take some photographs of the Sir Vivian Richards cricket ground. Our lunch orders were taken and forwarded at Shirley Heights meaning that on arrival at Nelson’s Dockyard, we didn’t have long to wait for food and drinks. Overall, a very enjoyable trip and excellent value for money.

Island Tour Experience - The island tour was great. Our host Omara was wonderful, she is so friendly and endearing and explained the history of Antigua in details. She has been doing this for two decades and it was a pleasure taking the tour with her. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors.

Great Experience - What a great private tour with George. First off this was our first time in Antigua. We ended ip having a private tour for the three of us and George did not disappoint. He knew eveything about the island and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was personalized. From making sure my friend who was pregnant was comfortable at all times, answering any questions we had, feeding us at a local bread spot and surprising me with some early birthday ice cream and song. We truly enjoyed our tour around the beautiful island and wouldn’t hesitate to use viator again.

A very good tour that should not be missed. - We were met from the hotel on time by Julie, and transferred to George very shortly after, Julie was welcoming and informative. We shared the tour with two other guests who were delightful. We have been on many trips over the years and by far George is the best guide we have had. The trip was well thought out, timings were perfect. George’s knowledge was excellent and he was very polite, professional but above all friendly. For us English harbour was the highlight but everything on the tour was great, including a delightful lunch. Thank you George and Julie for a memorable day. All the best Gordon and Wendy.

Scenic Full Day Tour - Views were great and loved learning about to island history. Was in a spacious car with only one other couple — there was AC and drinks provided. We would’ve wished we brought our bathing suits for the last stop at darkwood beach (the beach was beautiful). We found it to be a long day, but still enjoyed it nonetheless!
