A sweet, wholesome family farm - This was such a wholesome experience. Mykal and his “assistant” Elisa were so sweet and we had such a fun time sharing in their passion for the farm! I will recommend this to everyone I can, it was the highlight of our whole trip.

Great tour - recommended for all ages. Great guide who speaks both Spanish and English fluently. Go for it! - This was an absolutely amazing experience! Recommended for everyone - noone is too young or too old for this tour! From making our own guacamole with organically grown avocados to grinding our own coffee beans, we got a nice understanding of how everything works. Our guide Maykol was great at explaining and answering questions, and his passion for his farm was shining through the entire time. Additionally, Maykol speaks 100% fluent English, which was a huge bonus for us, as we dont understand much Spanish.

Delicious coffee and food as part of a very informative farm tour - Great experience exploring coffee from fruit to cup (we even got to roast our own beans which was a nice surprise). The fresh guacamole we made was delicious as were the fresh tortilla (we tried to make our own but these were less delicious) and honey. Very enjoyable and surprisingly informative trip with lots of information about the farm, would definitely recommend

Must do in Antigua! - This tour was a highlight of our trip! Maykol owns the farm and he is knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic. The farm is nestled in a residential area, so you might think there’s not much to it. But, wow, we leaned so much about the Antigua ecosystem, coffee production, and farming. We got to make our own tortillas and guacamole (using avocados from the farm) and taste coffee from the farm. We even got to process some coffee beans ourselves. We tasted honey from the farm and learned how the bees complete the farming cycle on the farm. Maykol is passionate and has a vision for the farm and it’s pretty exciting. For my kids (ages 15 and 17) and I this is a must see!

A quick hands-on lesson in organic farming - We chose this tour for the experiences for our grandsons, ages 10 and 12. We all learned about coffee, the trees, the stages, the process, roasting. Then we moved to the avocado trees, the boys got to make their own tortillas, followed by making their own guacamole to put on their fresh, hot tortillas. Yum! Then worm composting, worm fertilizer followed by manure/ fly maggots to feed the chickens, who loved their protein food. A quick lesson in a new hive-friendly honey collection technique from australia. In sum, an experience-based personalized tour fit for adults but especially for children by a very personable otivated organic farmer.

Extraordinary and exceptional experience. - What an exceptional experience. Mykol is a visionary. What he has accomplished on 2 acres of land in a relatively short period of time is extraordinary. Visiting his oasis while drinking his coffee, tasting his avocados and honey was a highlight of Antigua. I highly recommend this experience.
