  • El Valle de Anton - We will take you from Panama City to Anton Valley on a one-hour-and-a-half trip through the Pan American highway, where we will reach the thermal springs, where you will feel relaxed. From there, we will take you to the Chorro El Macho waterfall, the largest waterfall in the area, surrounded by nature. Then we will go to the Nispero Zoo, where you will see different animals found in the country’s interior, such as jaguars, monkeys, sloths, birds, many butterfly species from the butterfly garden, and last but not least, the exotic golden frog. After that, you can take the trail and explore the fauna and flora found in the Panamanian rainforest, and then you can shop in the Indigenous market.   • El Chorro Macho - The most famous waterfall in the El Valle region is the 35-meter-high Chorro El Macho. Below the falls, there is a natural swimming pool surrounded by rainforest. This towering waterfall is quite powerful and provides excellent photo opportunities.

  • Butterfly Haven - At the butterfly farm, you will have the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of butterflies living in El Valle. After a brief educational talk, you can visit their habitat and walk among hundreds of butterflies.

  • Sunday Market - In this market, you can find fresh vegetables, fruits, plants, and handicrafts for sale, all produced by local indigenous people.

  • El Serpentario - In this refuge, animals such as snakes, caimans, turtles, iguanas and all kinds of reptiles are rescued to learn more about them with the local guides.

El Valle de Antón is located entirely within the crater of an extinct volcano. The village holds the world record for the largest inhabited volcanic crater. The area is perfect for hiking and a great destination to explore the mountains during your trip to Panama. You can visit the Pozos Termales (hot springs) to relax after hiking. El waterfall el Macho is a beautiful waterfall in a gorgeous natural setting. In the center of El Valle de Antón, there is a small and charming butterfly garden where you can enjoy admiring up to 16 different species of colorful butterflies. El Valle is regionally famous for its Sunday Market, a colorful and lively event that draws vendors, many of whom are local Indigenous from around the area who come to hawk traditional clothing, handicrafts, baskets, ceramics, vegetables, orchids, food items, and more .
