Amazing value trip - Amazing experience, great value for money. People were lovely and really made the effort to make sure we had the best time. Food served at lunch was good too. Only slight drawback was seeing the elephants being ridden on the banks as we came down the river. This was not pushed onto us though, it was just sad to see. Couldn’t fault the trip at all.

Excellent experience enjoyed every minute of it. - Despite the trip of 1h and a half to arrive, it is worth the trip. Since you arrive at a natural park (jungle) with incredible views. The rafting environment is beautiful. The waterfall is very pretty and the temple that is visited is surrounded by monkeys and inside a cave.

Fun but a lot of waiting around - Positives- the pickup from the hotel was timely and the minivan was comfortable. The actual rafting was really fun and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lunch was delicious too and the trip to the monkey temple was really fun and the monkeys were so friendly! Negatives- unfortunately most of the day consists of waiting around, and you only do about 45 minutes max of actual rafting (we did the 7km option). The rest of the time is spent waiting for other people in the group who chose to do additional activities, such as ATVs, elephant riding (which is very disappointing to see offered as an option) and zip lining. So you get picked up around 8.15, get to the elephant riding bit around 10, have to wait around for 30/40 minutes, then go to the rafting place, do rafting for 40 minutes, have lunch, and then sit around for another 1.5 hours whilst some people do the other activities I mentioned, and then you get back in the van and drive to the monkey temple, where you get half an hour before being dropped home around 5pm. The drive takes about 1.5hrs each way. All in all its just a very long day with most of it feeling like you’re just driving or waiting around, which if you’re okay with is fine as the staff were great and friendly!

Biggest tourist trap - Do not go!!! - DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR. We went on lots of tours via Viator and we have always had a good time. Not on this one. We booked it because we wanted to go rafting and the very few reviews (7) on this tour we good. I am making this one so that you don’t make the same mistake we did. 1. It is a big tourist trap. They make you pay for everything. They treat you like a number to get the most tourist they can in 1 day. The package includes a 5 km rafting descent. Once you get there, they tell you to pay 500 THB to go on the 7 km or on the 9 km and they tell you that the 5 km is boring. 2. They were right. The 5 km is boring. It lasts about 15 min, and isn’t exciting at all. The rafting guide was making us uncomfortable with his numerous sexual jokes all along the ride and a guide from another boat threw us A LIVE TOAD in our boat (could’ve been funny for some people but not to us). Not to mention the very unsafe helmet and life jackets we were provided with. 3. So many extras. During the rafting, they took pictures and videos of us. 500 THB to have the pictures and another 500 THB to have the videos. The guides were also harassing us for tip. 4. We then went on the most underwhelming zipline I ever saw. It was about 30 seconds long and was in the place’s parking lot. Nothing to see there. 5. We then had a lunch. We usually love Thai food. This one was very very low quality. They took the food the saw, fried it and served it. I guess we could say that 1 positive point is that they accommodated us with vegetarian food (fried little carrots bits and onion rings). Of course, we were sick the next day because of their food. Oh and the don’t have soap (they have bottle of soap with water and maybe 2 drops of soap). 6. So much waiting. We were 3 groups on our tour. Our package included the rafting and a waterfall tour. The 2 other groups had other activities like ATV. They made us wait for looooong periods of time because we were 2 hours away from the hotels and only had 1 bus. We didn’t know that our total activity time would be 1h30 long and that the rest of our 8 AM - 6 PM day would consist of WAITING. We waited in uncomfortable places, in the heat. 7. The ATV that the people in our bus had was in an elephant riding camp. We are strongly against this practice, and our tour package never said that we would go to this place (we went because it was at the same place that the other group’s ATV was at). We were forced to sit there and watch one of the worst things human do to animals. We eventually went to wait in the very hot bus. That was 2 hours of waiting. 8. The monkey cave was a truck stop with a buddha statue and monkeys and pigeons who are only there because tourists leave their food everywhere. 9. The waterfall was pretty. To sum up, DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR, do not go to Ohm infinity (the rafting place). I’m sure there are some other beautiful places to go rafting in Krabi that aren’t huge tourist traps like this one.
