Worth every bead of sweat - Without doubt this isn’t an easy hike, particularly in full sun and hot temperatures, but I was lucky enough to have Rafael as our guide. He is so supportive and caring and his love of the canyon made the hike so interesting that you forget how tired you are. His knowledge of the valley, it’s people, flora and fauna was fascinating. I was also impressed by the food and accommodation which far exceeded my expectations.

Con Carlos nel canyon - We did this excursion with the guide Carlos who was an exceptional guide. He told us about the peculiarities of the canyon, the plants that grow there and the habits of people. It was a tiring but beautiful experience.

2 days trek in the canyon - Great experience: nice hike and local food. It is expensive I can admit that, but it is still worth it. The landscape is impressive. The trek itself is nice : a lot of indications you can’t get lost if you faster than your group. The guides in charge of the tour are all very nice people, pleasant to speak with and very friendly.

Great Colca. Request Rafael! - One of my favorites tours in Peru. It's intermediate (I'm reasonably fit) level hike with beautiful views throughout. As previous reviewers have said, Rafael is an excelent guide with huge knowledge of his country. Don't skip this hike while you are in Peru. Highly recommended.

Tough but worth it! - Amazing trip, would definitely recommend! The first day of hiking down into the canyon was a little difficult on the knees and also because of the hot sun. We got more than we could eat for lunch and then continued to the oasis for pool, dinner, and sleep. The accommodations were comfortable and we were able to get 6+hrs of sleep. We started the next day at 430am, and hiked 3hrs back up to the top for breakfast. This was tough and I definitely recommend buying some candy/snacks/cookies for some energy. After breakfast we traveled to the hot springs which were the perfect relaxing end to a tough but rewarding trip. We also loved our guide Alex, he was funny, knowledgeable, and helpful in making sure everyone felt comfortable at their own pace.

Awesome awesome trip! - Awesome tour! Our guide Carlos was amazing. He took care of everyone in the group. He also gave great introduction of plants, animals, and culture of Peru. The hike was nice, but not easy for beginners. I highly recommend this tour, if you enjoy trekking.

Amazing experience - It was a challenging, but very beautiful hike. Everything was well organized. Our guide Rafael was amazing. My mom got a heat stroke on the first day and he really helped her out (gave good tips, lent her his walking sticks and carried her back). Definitely recommend it!

Amazing experience! - The trekking in the colca is something incredible, and with Carlos' Guide was even more unique, it gave us many information along the way, after the trekking we enjoyed the thermals. If you go through Peru it is an experience that I recommend.

Spectacular Colca Canyon! - A wonderful experience trekking through the Colca Canyon for 2 days/1 night. My partner and I went on a private tour. Hans, our guide, was very knowledgable and polite. Nice and hospitable facilities. Overall, a great experience!
