It was a very relaxing mix between getting to know arequipa and it's food. So definitely recommend this to everyone!

A Wonderful Walking Tour - This is a great tour. José treats his guests to a wonderful walk through the city, highlighting the cultural aspects of Arequipa and providing them with lots of information on the historical and modern elements of his hometown, which he knows well and clearly loves. We wandered past and through historic buildings, tasted local beverages, ice cream, and fruits, spent time in the city market (perhaps my favorite stop along the way, and he didn't rush us through), and concluded with an elegant late afternoon pisco tasting in a gorgeous old courtyard. He's fairly new to this and is charging a price I told him was too low for what he offers. I walked away with a great appreciation for Arequipa, and sorry I had to leave that night since he introduced us to places I wish I had visited further. Book this on your first day if you can.

Fantastic Finish - Jose was an empathetic and knowledgeable guide! The value was fantastic and end of the tour with the Pisco tasting was a definite highlight. Many other tours try to sell you a lot along the way to boost the profits, but this was not the case with Jose.
