  • Argegno - Our journey begins in Argegno, a quaint village situated in the heart of Lake Como’s first basin, known for being the filming location of Murder Mystery and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. From here, we will head north.

  • Isola Comacina - Next, we will arrive at Comacina Island, the only island on Lake Como. For those interested, there is a safe swimming canal between the island and the lake’s eastern shore. The island is renowned for its fireworks display, commemorating the ancient fire of June 24, 1169.

  • Chiesa Santa Maria Maddalena - Ossuccio-Tremezzina (co) - We will admire the medieval bell tower, perhaps the most distinctive on the entire lake, with its unique shape.

  • Villa del Balbiano - Complesso Architettonico di Ossuccio (ante 1778) - Our next stop is Villa del Balbiano, an architectural complex of exceptional beauty. It is also known for being a filming location for House of Gucci and the TV series Succession.

  • Villa del Balbianello - We will then visit the stunning Villa Balbianello, a historical museum and filming location for Star Wars Episode II and 007 Casino Royale. The villa is famous for its gardens, which can be toured by booking on its website.

  • Golfo di Venere - After passing the villas, we will admire the Gulf of Lenno, also known as the Gulf of Venus.

  • Villa Carlotta - Our journey continues to Tremezzo, where we will see not only the most famous hotels on Lake Como but also Villa Carlotta, which can be visited upon request. Entrance requires a ticket, and reservations are recommended.

  • Menaggio - We will then reach Menaggio, known for its impressive and picturesque lakeside, especially popular on summer evenings.

  • Bellagio - We will cross the lake towards Bellagio.

  • La Punta Spartivento - We will briefly stop in Bellagio to admire the Spartivento point, where the lake splits into two branches.

  • Varenna - Our next destination is Varenna, the village of lovers. This charming village is nestled by the lake.

  • Villa Monastero - We will then visit Villa Monastero, a captivating 16th-century architectural complex that was once a convent for Cistercian nuns. Today, it is a major tourist attraction with a house museum and botanical gardens featuring various plant species. Garden visits can be booked in advance on the villa’s website.

  • Hotel Villa Cipressi, by R Collection Hotels - We will admire Villa Cipressi, a testament to the late Renaissance period. Its terraces descending towards the lake offer a perfect vantage point for the view.

  • Bellagio - We will return to Bellagio to explore further and appreciate the village, renowned worldwide.

  • I Giardini di Villa Melzi - Heading south along the lake’s eastern shore after visiting Bellagio, we will encounter Villa Melzi, a distinctive botanical garden with a villa, statues, and lakeside paths.

  • Lezzeno - We will pass through Lezzano, a fishing village known for building racing boats that won the world championship in powerboat racing in the 1950s.

  • Orrido di Nesso - Our journey continues to the Nesso ravine, famous for its 2000-year-old Roman bridge.

We will meet in Piazza Giovanni Grandi in Argegno in front of the church. Once you reach the meeting point, send a WhatsApp message or call and we will open a gate for you. After check in you can reach the pier. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the experience.

Best Tour of Lake Como - Clean, friendly, funny, nice, amazing, insightful, beautiful! Not all tours are created equal. This tour was amazing. The boat was brand new, clean, and modern. The ride itself was smooth and not bumpy at all! I normally get boat sick but this was not the case. The tour started off with them offering Prosecco and water free of charge, already an amazing start! They helped us onto the boat and we zipped off as they showed us all the major villas with the history and funny stories about them. It was hot and they allowed us to lower the shade, creating a perfect atmosphere. They told us that even during the rain they can do tours cause of their tech. Only thing I regret was not bringing a bathing suit to hop into the water!

Highlight of our time in Bellagio - We had an excellent time with Pietro and Federica! They were punctual, friendly and gave us an amazing tour of Lake Como! There was a small mixup with our pick up location; however, they were quick to accommodate our mixup. We would 100% recommend their business and will most definitely use them again when we return!

Great tour ***** - A lovely tour with friendly guides. I recommend to everyone. They also picked us up in the boat directly from our hotel and happy to cater to any other additional requirements. We travelled with a 4 month old baby and it was no issue with the tour guides. Thank you we will come again:)

Unforgettable Experience - We booked a private boat trip with Federica and Piedro through Como Floaty Tour. My wife and my two kids were fortunate to have met Federica (Fedi) and Piedro as they were a great, friendly and informative couple. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the villas on the lake. They are truly passionate about their job. I would definitely book them again. We loved them both!

Boat tour with a great ending - We decided to go on a boat trip on our girls' trip. We had an absolute hit with these two great people. Not only was it a lot of fun, but they were also able to tell us a lot about the properties on Lake Como! With the tip on where we could end our day in the sun, they made it perfect all around!

Loved cruising with Floaty Tours! - Pietro and Fredrika were amazing hosts on our private lake tour. They were very knowledgeable and eager to show us a wonderful time as they took us along the shoreline and explained the villages and the beautiful villas. The weather was a bit questionable so when we decided to change dates they were very accommodating and communicating through email prior to our trip was a plus. We were also picked up at the pier of our hotel in Menaggio. They had beverages on board including a wonderful bottle of Prosecco. The boat was very comfortable and Pietro was a safe driver. Being with them was like being with family. I highly recommend this wonderful couple to spend time with on Lake Como.

Four fabulous hours on Lake Como with Pietro and Fredrica - Four fabulous hours on Lake Como with Pietro and Fredrica They picked us up at our hotel in Menaggio and took us around Lake Como for fabulous views of villas, villages and the natural beauty that is Lake Como. Along the way, this adorable young couple provided in-depth explanations of what we were viewing. They also provided liquid refreshments including Proseco. Perhaps most importantly, we are four adults in our 60s and 70s and they were very helpful and made us feel young. Strongly recommend them for what my wife called the highlight of all of our many European adventures.
