Wonderful Experience Exploring Armenia - We had such a great time in this private tour with Mikayel as our tour guide and Ara as our driver. They really made this experience and explained everything thoughtfully while answering all our questions. We learned a lot and saw some great sights, definitely booking again!!

Ancient monasteries, lush forests, a beautiful lake, and a Swiss-like village. - This was an amazing seven-hour private tour to the North of Yerevan. The terrain and flora was very different from what one sees in the immediate environment of the capital, so that alone make the tour worthwhile. But when one adds XI century chapels, an idyllic mountain village, and breathtaking views of Lake Sevan - this tour is outstanding! We were picked up by our driver Vahram and guide Raffi exactly on time at our hotel. The Hyur Services car was immaculate and well appointed (individual water bottles for the two of us, personal maps to follow our route, and umbrellas in the trunk “just in case”). Vahram only speaks Armenian and Russian, but he’s intuited our every need. His driving was exceptional - manoeuvring the chaotic Yerevan traffic with ease and parking the car in ideal locations at each stop. Raffi was an exceptional, enthusiastic guide! He didn’t just recite a script, he added context and personal experience and observations to everything. it was a pleasure to have spent the day with him. His command of English is excellent, he also speaks Armenian and Arabic. The monasteries are amazing. We visited on Sunday so were able to see Armenian Apostolic/Orthodox services (not understand what was being said, but able to observe) - an unexpected added bonus! The state of preservation and/or renovation of all the monasteries was awesome! Dilijan was fascinating. It’s an Alpine-like village nestled in the high mountains/hills. The monastery there is amazing. The lunch that we pre-purchased was in a cute little roadside family restaurant. The service was attentive, the food was abundant and delicious. I highly recommend this tour, despite quite a lot of the time spent on the road between sightseeing locations.

A great trip I will never forget - The bus is in great condition, and the food where we had lunch is delicious. The guide Alexey's English isn't just poetic and melodic but also deep. He made me cry for a moment because it was more like a big performance. Each time he spoke, I felt a sense of pride, almost as if he could have been a star had he been born in the U.S. or the U.K. With his exceptional English language skills and artistic flair, he could easily rise to fame in Hollywood or on the BBC. Our trip was incredibly enjoyable, and we were all deeply impressed by the guide's courteousness, warmth, articulate English and knowledge of the churches. A big Thank You to Hyur Service for ensuring our trip was so delightful and special thanks to guide Alexey and driver Karen.
