Since you’ll likely be tired from your journey, we haven’t scheduled any activities for today. Instead, you can relax at the hotel and prepare for the days ahead.

Yerevan-Khor Virap- Etchmiadzin-Zvartnots-Yerevan
Khor Virap - In the world’s first Christian country, the monasteries are truly magnificent, each unique and incomparable. Our journey begins at Khor Virap, where Grigor the Illuminator endured his first tortures. You’ll enjoy the view of the monastery, the biblical Mount Ararat, and learn about the origins of Christianity. By the way, Khor Virap means ‘deep dungeon’. Do you know why?
Alex and Marie Manoogian Treasury House Museum - The spiritual city awaits you. Next, we’ll visit Etchmiadzin, where you’ll connect with the roots of Christianity. You’ll see the world’s first monastery and explore a museum housing valuable and significant pieces of art, including the Holy Lance (Geghard) that pierced Christ’s side and relics of Noah’s Ark.
Zvartnots Temple - Not far from Etchmiadzin, you’ll find the ruins of another masterpiece, Zvartnots. Despite its ruined state, its beauty and harmony with the surroundings remain intact. Zvartnots stands before you with Mount Ararat in the background.
Yerevan-Goshavank - Haghartsin –Sevanavank-Yerevan
Goshavank Monastery - Embark on an incredible journey to discover more Armenian treasures in the Tavush region. Goshavank is a 10th-12th century monastery that has served as a school and cultural center for centuries.
Haghartsin Monastery - Not far from Goshavank, Haghartsin is nestled in a lush forest. Built in the 13th century, the monastery’s serene atmosphere and stunning scenery transport you to a world of peace and harmony.
Monastery Sevanavank - Lastly, you’ll experience the beauty of Lake Sevan, known as the blue eyes of Armenia, and the Sevanavank monastery on the peninsula. Dating back to the ninth century, the lake’s beauty and the monastery’s mystery are captivating. Then, you’ll return to Yerevan, the capital city.
Yerevan -Garni-Geghard- Yerevan
Garni Temple - Embark on a special trip to Garni and Geghard, where two religions coexist. Garni is the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia. Nearby, you’ll find the foundation of a church, with breathtaking mountains and the Garni Canyon as a backdrop. Enjoy the soulful sounds of the Armenian duduk.
The Monastery of Geghard - From Garni, we’ll head to the Geghard monastery, an astonishing 4th-century structure nestled in the mountains along the Azat River. Discover the fascinating history of the monastery and more. You’ll return to Yerevan with the opportunity to explore the city or shop at local markets like Vernissage and Gum.

Republic Square - On the final day of your trip, we bid farewell with hopes of seeing you again soon. You’ll be transferred to Zvartnots International Airport.
