Highlights
  • Arucas - Arucas. It offers an experience of sensations that begins as soon as you arrive at its historic center. The old town of Arucas has the designation of historical-artistic interest. The Parish Church of San Juan Bautista is the architectural piece with the greatest presence and social value in the municipality. Heritage, culture and tradition will be a constant during your visit to this municipality.

  • Teror - Located in the northern region of the island of Gran Canaria, the town of Teror is one of the oldest inhabited centers of the seven Canary Islands. Founded after the apparition of the Virgin in 1481 and declared a Marian town at the end of the 16th century, Teror has a vast religious heritage that includes a basilica, convents and houses of noble families. Calle Real de la Plaza has been the social and commercial epicenter of this town for five centuries.

  • Firgas - The old town of Firgas is worth a walk to appreciate the numerous corners of tourist interest that the municipality has. We visited the Paseo de Gran Canaria and the Paseo de Canarias, which are located in the heart of the town and on what was formerly Calle Real del Centro. The beauty of Firgas lies in visiting “the Balcony of the Atlantic”, for having the most beautiful views over the ocean in the entire north, east and west of Gran Canaria.

  • Agaete - Puerto de Las Nieves is the coastal area of the municipality of Agaete. Currently, it has become the main maritime connection between Gran Canaria and Tenerife, it is a picturesque and charming fishing village on the northern coast of Gran Canaria. It has a typical Canarian atmosphere and character with surprising cliffs. Impressive small beaches, which, although stony, have cold, crystal-clear waters.
In history, the image of the broken Roque or popularly known as “the Finger of God”.

Wow, wow, wow - Wow , wow, wow. Just amazing . This was our favourite activity in Gran Canaria. I have never seen an aquarium like this one. I cannot recommend this place enough. There are some real suprises in there like seeing the Poison Arrow Dart Frog. It was so well laid out, immaculately clean and so impressive, our whole family loved the experience. Thank you.

Amazing place - UK family. Arrived by cruise ship, wasted €€€€ on a bus tour so out of desperation we visited this aquarium expecting a UK standard smelly dirty aquarium. By contrast this place was stunning, the best aquarium we have ever visited. We loved it, its clean, lots of variety and useful signs and facts. Great to see staff cleaning the tanks and showing kindness to the marine life. First time I have seen a crocodile too. The show stopper is the panoramic main tank and watching the scuba divers feed the sting rays. Simply stunning

Well worth it - We caught the no30 bus from the yumbo Centre, it took about hour and twenty minutes to get to las Palmas. It's the very last stop at the shopping centre and then a five minute walk from there, we pre booked our tickets and walked straight in. A great selection of fish and sharks to look at reasonable prices for food and drink, it took us about 3 hours to go round everything. It can be very warm in the first section of the aquarium.

Amazing long sea glass wall to view - Wonderful long sea glass viewing wall and areas to sit or stand watching the marine life, also tunnel through water. One way direction.. Lots of stops for toilets and cafe available. Can rush round, or take all the time you want.
