Great tour with a great guide! - My guide was Didara, a young Muslim woman. She was very knowledgable and between stops we had a great time discussing some of the things that have happened to Kazakhstan and its people over the past few centuries. The Bayterek was closed for some restoration work so we couldn't go there. I had previously arranged to spend some time at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We only got to see a few of the exhibits but enjoyed it immensely. The second mosque we went to, the Grand Central Mosque is HUGE! As can be seen in the one photo, we were towards the back of the main prayer area and the Imam conducting the service looked to be at least 100 yards, if not more, away from where we were. Next we went to the Khan Shatyr Entertainment Centre. As it was getting time to eat I treated Didara and our driver Maksim to lunch at Khan Shatyr. We had halal burgers and they were very good! Didara said she loves being a tour guide and her enthusiasm for it shows.

Totally recommended! - We booked the 3 hour tour with the team plus the transfers from and to the airport. The service was AWESOME, they were super attentive and the whole experience was very smooth. They even helped us coordinate with our accommodation! The tour itself was very interesting. Didara was our guide and shared with us a lot of info on the country and the city from the point of view of a historian, which was very enriching. She even explained us part of her current research about the past of the city. If you are planning to visit the city soon, do not hesitate and book a tour with them, you will not regret it!

Nice tour with basic insights - The tour provides a good overview of the main sights in Astana but eg the biggest mosque was not part of it, so it is good as a starting point
