At the break of dawn i.e., 7:00 am, the tour guide will collect you from your Aswan hotel for a fascinating day trip to the unique Temple of Kom Ombo. Perched high on the riverbank overlooking the Nile, this temple is distinguished by its two entrances, each dedicated to a deity - ‘Haroeris’ with his head of a falicon and ‘ Sobek ‘ with his crocodile visage. The Temple of Kom Ombo is a tribute to these two gods - Sobek, the crocodile-god who governs fertility and is said to have crafted the world, and Haroeris or the ancient Horus with a falcon’s head. A packed lunch is included in the tour.

Subsequently, you’ll be taken by road to Edfu to explore the magnificent temple consecrated to Horus, touted by many as the best-preserved religious temple in Egypt. Mythical tales of Egypt claim it to be the venue where Horus, the god with a falcon’s head, avenged his father Osiris’s murder by eliminating Seth. Following the tour’s completion, you’ll be transported to your hotel in either Aswan or Luxor depending on your preference.
