Great trip, great experience - This was a great trip. The pickup from the hotel was on time and the staff were very nice. Be prepaired for a long drive but there are a few stops on the way for tea/coffee break and photos up in the mountains. Our driver didn't have much English but that was fine, he was very pleasant and a very good driver. He had to navigate some bad roads that were under construction, that just added to the fun. I would recommend this company, they are very professional and give good value for money. I would do this trip again but would consider adding a visit to the movie studio but that may make the day too long, especially for our teenage son.

Atlas - We originally booked a group excursion but since there weren’t enough bookings the owner Said offered us the same trip in a private SUV for 70 euros extra. It’s a 3 hour long but spectacular trip through the high Atlas with plenty of beautiful spots to photograph. Said is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Stops included the UNESCO Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (the Gladiator) and Ouarzazate (Morocco’s Hollywood). There’s a film museum and the Atlas Studios to see, both worth visiting. Good idea to hire a guide because there are no real explications of the various props from all the films that have been shot there. Overall, a lot of driving for one day but definitely an exceptionally interesting day.

Great desert landscapes, long drive - tour is great value for all who want to experience one day driving through beautiful desert landscapes. Timely pick-up (had to walk some minutes from hotel) Important: you will not visit Ouarzazate, (this would require one night there) the bus stops for 30 mins in front of the film museum and has to go back at 3.30 to arrive at 7.40 at Marrakesch. We visited another fantastic Kasbah before O. and also had lunch there. Overall good value for about 20 Euros

Without further ado... if you are very excited about Ait Ben Haddou then go - The truth is, the trip is too long for what it is. Ait Ben Haddou is beautiful, but the truth is there was no longer any in Ouarzazate and there was nothing, they left us there for 40 minutes and we took a walk through empty streets and that's it. The guide told us not to buy anything in the shops in Ait Ben Haddou because they were very expensive, that we would have time in Ouarzazate, but there were 3 small shops there. Also, to eat they take you to a approved place that charges you €12 per menu with a drink on the side. The place was good! But you have no choice, that seemed a little curious to me🤔. 4 hours drive back You have to pay the entrance fee to Ait Ben Haddou (€3) and the guide asks for tipp.

Inadvisable - They picked us up 6 minutes walk from the riad. The transport had no air conditioning or heating. They asked us to pay 30 Dh to a guide that we did not hire, when I already paid the price of the tour on the traveler's page. This should be notified when you make the purchase or include it in the price, because it did not seem correct. We traveled for 4 hours by bus and then we saw the excursion in a hurry, the guide did not leave us time for anything, then we went to see how some women wove (something we did not ask for and did not like), we ate fast and back to the bus To return to Marrakech. I advise against going with Viator.

AVOID - The worst trip I’ve been to. The driver was reckless and the roads were quite dangerous. He was driving too fast and didn’t provide any information of the places we’ve seen. We were told we needed a guide and we had to pay 25drh each and then we were taken to a very pricy restaurant for our lunch. The worst food I’ve had in Morocco. We were given no choice. The stop in Ourzante lasted 30 min! And we were back in the car for 4 hour drive to Marrakesh. Waste of money and mostly waste of time.
