We’ll assemble in the city center, at Monastiraki Square, much like the Greeks in Athens do. Grabbing our coffees, we’ll embark on a ‘volta’ – a leisurely stroll through the city that gives you a firsthand Athens experience!
This exploratory stroll will last approximately 1.5 hours. In this time, I will take you through my journey of discovering Athens – the secret trails, scenic lanes, hills, the history that’s alive, and also some anecdotes from my personal life. I’ll provide an insight into the modern Athenian lifestyle, our favorite hangout spots, food joints, and crucially, our de-stressing zones.
After our ‘volta,’ we’ll culminate at one of Athens’ leading taprooms. At this point, we’ll spend another 1.5 hours, wherein we’ll explore Greek beer culture briefly, alongside a mini masterclass about savoring beer and pairing it with food. We’ll indulge in a tasting session, with four varied beer types, paired with a variety of Greek cheese, olives, nuts, fruits, and chocolates, acquainting you with the art and science behind beer tasting.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
