  • Acropolis - Our Athens private half-day sightseeing tour will begin with a visit to the most important archaeological monument, an icon of the Greek civilization, the Acropolis of Athens.

The Acropolis of Athens, also referred to as the “Sacred Rock” is the most important monument in Europe. When reaching the top of the Acropolis, you will find yourself at the entrance or the Propylaea, which was completed in 432 B.C. You will also get to admire the most imposing monument which is the Parthenon, as well as the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheum with the famous Caryatids.

This modern archaeological museum showcases some of the most important treasures of ancient Greek art. Here visitors can admire the sacred sculptures from the of Athena Polias on the Acropolis, architectural sculptures of Archaic buildings, as well as the mesmerising Caryatids from the Erechtheion.
  • Arch of Hadrian - The Arch of Hadrian, most commonly known in Greek as Hadrian’s Gate, is a monumental gateway resembling – in some respects – a Roman triumphal arch.

  • Hellenic Parliament - Next on the programme is a visit to Syntagma Square which is the central square of Athens, named after the Constitution that the first King of Greece Otto was obliged to grant. The Hellenic Parliament which is housed in the Old Royal Palace overlooks the Syntagma Square.
