This is the best way to see Athens! - This tour is the best way to see all the great sites in Athens and then in Souino to see the Tample of Poseidon. Pannos was our driver and he was very nice and very informative at every place we stopped. We didn’t hire a professional tour guide so Pannos would basically give us the history of whatever site we were going to next while driving there and for us that was perfect. We still got all the historical information but then were able to go explore it on our own which we loved. Athens is very hot so doing this kind of tour is the best way to see everything. Yes there was still a lot of walking especially at the acropolis but it definitely felt much more doable the way this tour is organized. Also they suggested buying your tickets in advance and thank his we did because the line to get tickets was so long and most of the time slots were all filled up. At the end of our tour, we went to this adorable restaurant that Pannos suggested and it was amazing! Obviously the restaurant cost of whatever you order isn’t part of the tour so you have to pay if you decide to go there but the prices were pretty reasonable. It was a great way to end a long day of lots of walking. Doing this tour we were able to see all the historical sites in Athens and Sounio in 1 day which was amazing. We were incredibly happy we decided to do this tour and highly recommend it!

Wonderful private custom Athens tour-Book this company! - Do not hesitate to book this company. They are professional and very responsive. We decided to book this private tour vs one from the cruise ship primarily due to price and the limitation of what we would see if we used the cruise tours. We did not have to wait for a large group to see all the sites (those can be over 40 people and a mess). Also be aware, there is a lot of walking/hiking. Make sure to let them know if there are any ADA or precautions because these sites don't all have lifts and arrangements may need to be made. Jimmy, was our guide/driver for this tour. We saw everything we wanted to see and omitted places that were not of interest to us. Traveling with children was also a huge factor in choosing a private tour. Jimmy was professional, prompt, and FULL of information. The van was spacious and clean. He literally had each stop timed to perfection. We called when we were ready to be picked up. We beat the mass crowds at the Acropolis, it was almost as if were one or two steps ahead of the large buses. We were able to watch the changing of the guards, Arch of Hadrian, Zeus's temple, and pretty much all the must see places. They will custom any tour you want. We made the trip to Temple of Poseidon. The drive was beautiful. Kids were able to take a nap as it was around 45 minutes from Athens. Jimmy was open to making any stops along the way if we saw anything that caught our eye. On the way, he was making arrangements for our lunch (preference of food, allergies, requests). My husband had one request for saganaki that was recommended by a friend. Jimmy made sure the restaurant could make it and they delivered. The restaurant was waterfront and definitely a local spot to eat. Food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The drive down the coast did take up a good portion of our day, but it was worth it. I would contact them directly and ask for Jimmy. He truly was fantastic, a safe driver, and his Australian accent was fabulous!

The best of the Best!!! - This is the best tour company in Greece! “Jimmy Australia” was our guide and he did not disappoint us one bit! He gave us information that was educational but not boring. We had a magnificent lunch right on the Aegean Sea! We will use H.P. Tours whenever we visit Greece again!!

A great holiday in Greece with the best tour company in Athens - We did 3 full day tours of Athens/Sounion, Delphi and Argolis with HPT. They also arranged our Airport transfers. Everything was well organised, punctual, entertaining and efficient. Our driver Panos was a wealth of knowledge, very helpful and gave good advice on what to see and do. He even selected the best restaurants with tasty and reasonably priced food and drinks for our meals. The private van was well maintained, kept cool and always clean. Panos was very kind and a true gentleman. Frank was also very helpful and prompt in his responses to our enquiries. I would highly recommend HPT to anybody who wants to visit Greece. They reflect the kindness, generosity and hospitality of the Greek people. I am already planning my next trip to Greece with them!

Athens - Panos was great! He is very knowledgeable and made sure we had lots of fun. He picked us at airport and provided with as much as he could to make sure we saw all the sites even if our plane was delayed.

Well planned, fun and a memorable holiday - Hellenic tours organized all the sight seeing tours with great guides and the best driver ever, Evan! He drove a bunch of 14 crazy gighly women around without a fuss and drove with great control. All in all a memorable holiday and would love to use Hellenic tours again if we come back!!

A great way to see the sites - Our family (husband, myself and 8yo daughter) just had a great full day tour with Panos around Athens and the Poseidon temple in Sounion. Panos was an excellent driver but also amazing source on Greek history and culture. We learned a lot from him, and he was great with our daughter as well. He went out of his way to show us a few extra things based on our interests (a special pistachio shop and an ice cream place for our daughter, as well as a great coffee place). It was a great way to maximise our short amount of time in Athens and see many places of interest without running around and getting hot and exhausted. We would use this company again and suggest them to others absolutely.

Highly recommend - Wonderful tour with Michael who is an exceptional guide—very relaxed, accommodating and knowledgeable. We did the Athens half-day combined the Poseidon/Sounion tour and a customized winery tour. We hope to return to Greece in the future with family, customizing a vacation with HP Tours.
