- Meteora - Depart from Athens at 8:00am to Kalabaka with our lux coach-bus and admire the beautiful Greek landscapes during your trip. Shortstop midway to Meteora. \n\nArriving in Kalabaka around 13:00 our highly educated Tour Leader will be waiting for you. \n\nWe will do a shortstop for food (included in the price) for 30 min to relax from the trip. Choose one dish and a Greek salad from our 10 flavors (vegetarian plate also available). .We’ve reserved the best bus stop under giant trees, overlooking the majestic landscape.\n\nContinue with an amazing 4 hours Meteora tour, see all 6 monasteries and visit inside 3 of them. Your Tour Leader will give you full attention and care. Plenty of photo opportunity stops and many secret places that only locals know will make your tour a lifetime experience. \n\nAt the end of the tour you will see the Majestic sunset (from Nov 01 until Feb 22)\n\nFinally, will be transferred back to Kalabaka to travel back for Athens. You will arrive in Athens around 22:45.

The tour includes train travel from Athens, enabling you to behold all 6 Monasteries during this scenic tour under the guidance of an expert Local Tour Leader. Enjoy onboard WIFI and the breath-taking vistas from the comfort of your coach. The tour allows ample time for stunning photo stops and visits to 3 of the most renowned monasteries before heading back to Athens. Discover the hidden Hermit Caves and explore numerous hidden spots well-known only to the locals.
- Departure place: Athens Train Station (Larissis Station) be there at least 15 min before the departure of the bus at 08:00 am exactly
- There will be a sign “METEORA THRONES – TRAVEL CENTER” on the window of the bus , waiting outside the train station on the road across the street from the train station.
- Supplier is not responsible if you miss the bus please be there on time
- Your guide will be waiting for you upon your arrival at Kalabaka Bus stop
- Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. For ladies skirts by the knee or longer are required. No pants for ladies, no shorts, no sleeveless shirt. For men sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee are prohibited.
- Please make sure you have cash for the monasteries 3 euro each entrance. There is no ATM machine in the area.
- Lunch: The lunch includes a main dish, an atomic salad, bread & water. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

A wonderful day with surprise! - It was my birthday and I was so happy that I booked this wonderful tour up to the mountains! The whole time I was so thankful and grateful to worship the nature, let alone having the chance to exchange life experiences with someone on the same road. At the end a guy asked me to take the proposal video for him and I was the witness for this important moment! And uess what? It turned out that our three birthdays happen to be in a row, evidence Is inevitable! An unforgettable day! Only I wished to have more time to see more...

Surreal - Clament was an awesome tour guide! The whole trip was something out this world. Seeing Meteora and learning about its history was surreal. The bus ride was comfortable, the pit stops were perfectly timed, lunch was pretty good and the time spent at the actual location was the perfect amount. Highly recommend.

Very nice tour - Wonderful tour! Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgable. The monasteriwa and the viewa are incredible. The trip from Athens is long so be prepared, but totally worth it.

Amazing 🤩 - What an amazing tour from start to finish. Very well organised with a very knowledgeable tour leader (Clement) he truly was passionate about what we were going to see and do. Be prepared for a memorable tour. A long day but worth it. Lunch was very good and a varied choice to choose from. We would highly recommend this tour.

A Worthwhile Countryside Trip - An interesting experience. See how Greeks travel outside the hustle and bustle of city life for a countryside view of their beautiful landscape. Our English speaking guide, Clement, was full of historical information and was entertaining. You could feel his enthusiasm and love for this area when he spoke of the history in these monasteries. We visited 3 monastaries ( monastery of St. Stephen, Agios Stefanos & Roussanou) and my kids (9 and 12) were very impressed. The views are incredible! Our guide truly wanted us to have a grand experience and would ask my kids what they thought. Highly recommend this tour!

5-star your with Stacy - The bus experience from Athens was 2 star. Our local guide, Stacy was 5+ stars! The bus driver did a good job driving (admittedly the most important thing!) but communication was terrible. He told us the wifi password, barked out that we had 30 min at our first stop and that was it. On the 2nd stop, he said nothing. Nobody knew what to do. The bus didn't have charging ports and the AC barely worked. It was very warm and uncomfortable . The time with our local guide, Stacy and her driver, however, was great! Stacy was friendly, informative and patient. We learned a lot and were enthralled with the geology, architecture, history and sheer beauty of the place. Food stops were adequate. It was a long day, but totally worth it and we'd recommend it - with a better bus to and from Athens!

Meteora amazing - Beautiful sites
Local guide was very good
4 hour bus ride each way to and from the 3 monasteries we visited but actually got to see 5 out of 6 of them in totality.
Bus was reasonably comfortable
Food was not expensive but we’ve had much better quality at all the other sites we have visited.

Amazing day trip tour - Amazing day trip tour! We were a bit skeptical while booking due to the long drive from Athens to get to Meteora but it was well worth every minute and every Euro spent. The tour was very well organized, drivers were professional and the tour leader, Clement, was wonderful, providing us with precious info to understand the context of such beauties. Highly recommend if you have the chance to plan a day out of Athens.

Amazing experience! - The trip was amazing! We had a wonderful time and learned a lot. The whole day was extremely well organized. We got a lunch option, and the food was delicious. Maria and Kris were our guides. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. Thank you, guys!
