Full day Athens private tour - We are so fortunate to have had an amazing tour guide on our private Athens day trip. Andreas, our guide, hosted us on 2 trips - the full day and evening tour to Sunion. He was punctual, well organised, incredibly informative and made every effort to make my husband and I (seniors) comfortable. He facilitated easy access to sites. His multiple restaurant recommendations were all spot on ( we tried them all)! I highly recommend these tours. I also think Andreas is a top performer.

Excellent Day Trip - This day trip included the archaeological site and the museum at Delphi, both of which are well worth seeing. In fact, I would say that if you are visiting mainland Greece, Delphi is a must-see site second only to the Acropolis in Athens. Our guide, Nancy, was knowledgeable, organized, and very pleasant. I enjoyed spending the day in her company. After she gave us an overview of the archaeological site, we had some free time to explore on our own and then we could choose to either meet Nancy at the museum for a tour there, or continue to explore the archaeological site and then meet up with the rest of the group after they finished at the museum. This was my second visit to Delphi, I had seen the museum on my first visit, and I wanted to climb up to the stadium located above the temple and the theatre, so I opted for extra time at the archaeological site. However, if this trip is your first visit to Delphi, I recommend seeing the museum. After concluding our time at Delphi, those of us opting for the group lunch option were taken to a hotel restaurant. (Those opting for lunch on their own were dropped off in a small town with several restaurant choices.) The lunch menu consisted of spinach pie and cheese pie appetizers, Greek salad, and chicken with vegetables. I'm vegetarian, so I made do with the appetizers, salad, and vegetables - and that was plenty. It was a huge lunch, and I was full when I left the restaurant, even having passed on the chicken. After lunch, we headed back to Athens. I very much appreciated that regular bathroom stops were built into the trip. The first time I visited Delphi, I spent most of the 3.5 hour bus ride back to Athens in desperate need of a bathroom break, and I was very grateful not to have to repeat that experience! This day trip is an affordable, comfortable, well-organized, and efficient way to see one of the most amazing sites in Greece. I definitely recommend it!

Delphi Experience. - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and detailed. It was a small group and she engaged us with Q &As. The only negative comments I have were beyond her control.. ie extreme heat and her audio box seemed to have a short in it. I loved the fact it was a day trip out of Athens, that allowed us to see the countryside.

Delphi July 2024 - Johanna was our tour guide and we really enjoyed it as she kept us in the loop while driving and she told us a lot about Greece. It is a long drive but the bus was comfortable with AC and WiFi was working ok. It’s a great way to see something different than Athens and Delphi was great. The site is worth a visit, and the stops were great. Wish the lunch stop was a little longer. Otherwise great tour.

Go for the view, history and place! - The place, views and history was amazing. I didnt like our guide as I felt he lacked both energy and coherence in explaining things ... honestly, I was bored by it

better to visit Delphi on your own if possible - - We had no free time to tour the museum by ourselves. - We opted to have lunch on our own, but were shipped to a hotel where the tour lunch was arranged. The hotel was located in the middle of nowhere, and we had to wander for ten minutes before running into a decent restaurant.
