A Great Time - As a history person, I really enjoyed this tour, and our tour guide (Anastasio) was excellent. All my nuanced questions were thoroughly answered. Also, the place we stopped for lunch not only had a beautiful view, but the food was great too.

Do this for the caves! - We had such a wonderful guide! He shared stories and insights that you wouldn't get when exploring on your own. When navigating to the Corycian Cave, you travel along traditional rocky mountain roads which he navigated with ease. Thank you for such a great experience!

This is an excellent tour... - This is an excellent tour for anyone who's interested in history, and an absolute must-do if you're fascinated by the Battle of Thermopylae in particular. Although it is a very long day, you'll be rewarded with beautiful scenery, lunch at an excellent restaurant with a great view, and of course the historic sites of The Temple of Apollo, the Corcyian cave, and Thermopylae. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained the historical events and the context of the sites we were visiting. I was already pretty well read regarding the Battle of Thermopylae, but even I learned interesting details that I was unaware of before. This was definitely a highlight of my trip!

Pretty Miserable Experience - This is one of the worst tours we have ever taken. First, this is NOT a guided tour because the driver is not a licensed tour guide. The driver drops you off at the various sites and you are on your own for the designated time period. Second, the trip is limited to only 8 people because it is in a 9-person van with only 3 bench seats. It is very cramped (3 people to a seat) and the air conditioner can’t keep up during the 6 hour drive. I ended up sitting in the middle seat and, at one point, had the people on both sides of me leaning against my shoulders as they slept. I would definitely recommend going on a larger tour bus or shuttle that has individual seats and a licensed tour guide. The positive aspects of this tour were that the restaurant where we had lunch was excellent and the driver was very courteous.
