Cooking gyros with Dionysia - We had a wonderful evening with Dionysia and Kostas, learning to make gyros, pitta and some dips. The food was delicious, but the company was even better. It felt like you were having dinner with some friends and we chatted, laughed and exchanged stories. We have teenagers and they also enjoyed it, with Dionysia and her husband Kostas making them feel so comfortable. I would throughly recommend this as it was lovely to experience Greek culture and cuisine with two amazing local people.

Amazing and wonderful cooking experience - A memorable, wonderful experience. Great way to learn and the food and ambiance was delicious. Highly recommend. Also very accommodating to any food concerns (I don’t eat pork but there was plenty of delicious chicken). You won’t regret it! We will be cooking this at home.

I highly recommend this class!!! - One of my favorite cooking classes ever! I take one every time I travel. Did this on with my adult child (their first) and they are hooked! It was so much fun, informative, and delicious!

Definitely worth $ and your time!! - We had an amazing time! It’s not just about the amazing food we had, but the history of the area and the influences from different cultures that formed who they are today. We even had a 2 year old with us!

Best way to experience Greek Food - I cannot say enough great things about this experience. Dionysia was a great host, welcomed us into her home with her family, and immediately made us feel comfortable. Our wine cups were never empty and we left incredibly full of great authentic Greek food. Everything you eat and drink is fresh and is evident in the flavor. We did this experience at the beginning of our vacation in Greece and are really happy we did. Dionysia was able to give us recommendations for authentic Greek dishes to try (some that may not be on the menu but every Greek restaurant has) and how to select the best restaurants while avoiding some of the tourist traps. This is the experience for you if you want a light hearted evening full of laughter and good food while doing as the Greeks do and learning about real Greek culture. Side Tip - if you aren’t impressed already - be sure to ask Dionysia about her hobby at the beach. I’ll let her tell the rest but it’s pretty unique. Worth the trip and expenses - Such a warm and yummy experience of Greek food and hospitality. Everything was so fun for my whole family .Great for families with young teens. Worth the trip out of Athens to have this unique experience

What a fun and yummy experience - This was my favorite experience visiting Athens. Learning to make the most amazing pita and authentic gyros in a welcoming and hospitable setting. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class. I cannot wait to try to recreate the recipes at home. Our host family was simply the BEST. If you enjoy cooking and learning about local foods, you must take this class! You will not forget it! Nor will you leave hungry. A+++++++ 😊
