A must do trip from Athens - This felt so hospitable. Cathenian Adventures is an amazing brand . We did a food tour with them and then we decided to also join for this trip and oh my gosh this was a unique trip . We already knew that they would be hospitable as we've already taken a tour with this company but our guide shared so much info and so amazing storytelling while also feeling like you are hanging out with your local friend . Amazing atmosphere for the whole group ,met knew cool people,the beach was great and finally after the temple (where the location is stunning) we also got to experience amazing local and very fresh sea food dinner 10stars !

Great time! Must book! - We had an impeccable time with Cathenian Adventures touring about the Greece coast to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. We selected this tour because we wanted a small group experience and that is what we got! We had a full group at 6 travelers plus our guide, Niko. Niko was great - he effortlessly shared stories of Greek mythology as we approached the Temple of Poseidon, weaving what I had only known as disparate tales, connecting numerous mythological characters together into one cohesive story. It was brilliant! Before we ventured there, we started our tour with a nice vista of Lake Voulougmeni and a stop at a coffee shop for some coffee and a change into swimwear. We headed to a nearby secret beach spot (that had shade for those who wanted it) where we relaxed and took a dip into the sea for a generous 90 minutes. We were greeted by a friendly local cat who came and lounged with us. After the beach we headed to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon where we got to explore the area. He gave us many facts of the temple, its origins, the history, the cultural significance, how and why it was a show of power - Niko did a great job balancing all these topics and I was constantly captivated, never feeling like one was being overshadowed by another topic. He also talked with us about local culture and tradition which was something extra I wasn’t expecting. After our visit to the temple we headed to Lavrion for lunch nearby a local fish market where we were treated with the greatest hospitality with such delicious food. While lunch wasn’t included as part of the tour, Niko suggested it as an option since everyone in our group was getting along very well. Niko knew all the good spots and the locals and you could tell they were fond of him also. I highly recommend you book this tour if you are still reading - Niko will ensure you have a great experience!

6 stars experience with very likeable host - What lovely day . Nikolas is very hospitable polite and he shared great knowledge about Greek gods prior to visiting the temple of Poseidon. The water was very clear ,we come from Sweden so for us the beach we visited was spectacular. The temple is really nice also . We went during the morning so it wasn't too crowded. We finished with a great meal as Nikolas had some great suggestions for local food and he also recommended us many rooftop bars and greek tavernas in Athens as well which we appreciated . Overall I am so glad I chose this tour from Nikolas as it felt so personal like I had a friend to show me around with great storytelling abilities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 6 stars !

A truly beautiful experience. I’d recommend Niko in a heartbeat - Cape Sounion is a great destination and Niko is a phenomenal guide! What a great ride and a very careful safe driver. It was nice to see outside of Athens along the beautiful coastal road to the temple. Niko treated us to great Freddo Cappucino greek iced coffee along the way and we could also change clothes there and put on our swimsuits. The beach was sandy and very cute only a local would know because it's hidden and the water is magical ,clear like a swimming pool. Before we reached the temple he informed us about the the history of Poseidon so we had a good understanding to explore the ruins and the sunset was very nice . Although keep in mind that it gets crowded . Nothing our guide has power over but you may prefer the morning trip instead to beat the crowds. Food was excellent too A truly magical experience overall! Thank you Niko

Mustn't miss! - Firstly I wanted to mention the most important thing to me. I am a solo female traveller and the guide made me feel very safe and secure. I always notice and appreciate that! Now about the trip I don't know what I can say to describe the absolute amazement I was left with! The views and atmosphere made me feel like I'm in Mamma Mia! The temple made me feel like I was an ancient goddess! The sea, the sand, and the sun is everything I always heard about Greece! Our guide was the embodiment of Greek hospitality! He knew so much myths and history and made sure to break the ice early so that the whole group felt like a big company. Yeah sure I definitely recommend the trip on its own but I wholeheartedly believe our guide was what made it special!

Lived our Greek fairy tale! - Amazing trip with incredible sights to see! Nikolas was an awesome guide and told us so many stories about the historical and mythological background of the area and Poseidon. We concluded with very good family style sea food and I also definitely wanna try a few food tours with him as well . Great value I would rate this 7 stars

A fantastic day! - One of the best experiences I had in Athens! It was a day jam packed with so many adventures. Great conversations, stories, and the sights were amazing. We got to see parts of Greece that would have been hard to find! Niko was so awesome, and took us to an amazing lunch to end the day. Definitely worth trying!

A lovely day - Nikolas is a charming and polite host. Very knowledgeable and great energy. Very good and careful driver and he creates nice chemistry with all the group. Took us to an excellent restaurant, where we ate amazing food and we also got to chill at the beach and swim with the locals and enjoy the temple of Poseidon. Just a great experience overall 5 stars plus for sure !
