Amazing tour, 10/10! - Nikolas was amazing as a tour guide, and this was a great trip overall! The Temple of Poseidon at sunset was beautiful, and Nikolas found a delicious restaurant for us to eat at in the evening. He was also very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable about Greek mythology and history. Would definitely recommend this to everyone else!

Fun day! - We had a fun and relaxing day with Niko. He was very engaging and paid close attention to make sure we were comfortable and having fun. We ended the day with a delicious lunch. Would definitely recommend Niko and this trip on your visit to Athens.

A Lovely Day Trip - My daughter first became interested in Greek mythology through the Percy Jackson series, so we knew that no trip to Athens would be complete without a trip to the Temple of Poseidon. We initially selected the company because they offered a beach and village stop in addition to the visit to the temple and were interested in seeing life outside the city center. Our guide Theodore was knowledgeable , very personable and tended to not just our needs but that of the other traveler that was on the tour. It was like spending an afternoon with a local Greek friend. He explained the various sights as we drove outside Athens and answered our questions about Greek life. Our first stop was at a cafe where we were treated to freddos( which is the current iced drink that many Greeks consume) we were also able to change into our bathing suits at this stop . We did a quick stop at the thermal lake and he explained its formation and its current role in the culture . After that we stopped at the beach where our guide checked whether we wanted sun or shade , found us a perfect spot and laid out beach mats for us to use . When the wind picked up he checked to see if we wanted to move to a spot in the opposite direction of the wind . He even brought cut up watermelon that he shared with us-adding to the feeling that you were out with a friend. After the beach we headed to the temple. He told us the history of the temple as we drove .We toured the site independently because he was not licensed to conduct tours inside t. After our tour of the site we started heading back to Athens . Since it was past lunch time we all agreed that we wanted to stop for lunch in a local village. We had lunch at a lovely little restaurant attached to a fish market where we enjoyed home made wine , lovely spreads and salads with super fresh fish. This was a truly lovely day out and a nice break from the intensity of the city . . I highly recommend this tour .

Easy Charming Day Trip - Trip was nicely organized and a great way to get out of Athens for a day. Beach was lovely, temple was beautiful and the guide was very attentive kind and friendly making sure everyone was comfortable. Recommend!

Very good - I booked this experience with my children, and I was pleasantly surprised. The sea was very clean and we had just enough time to visit the temple of Poseidon. The restaurant we ate at was also very good, and especially the guide Theodore was very friendly and helpful, and told us the history of the places we stopped at.

Amazing tour! - We had a wonderful time! Fotis was an amazing tour guide with such positive energy! The riviera was beautiful and Temple of Poseidon was stunning. We really enjoyed the beach time as well with the clear blue water. Our special bougatsa treat was delicious! Highly recommend!

Fun afternoon from the pov of a local Athenian! - Nikolas was a super fun and informative guide! It was really fun getting to experience Athens from the pov of a local Athenian! One of the best ways to get to see the Temple of Poseidon if you're staying in near the city centre! PLUS he brought us to have one of the best seafood dinners after! Highly recommend the evening slot for the sunset views!

Fantastic Excursion with a Great Host! - Booked via GetYourGuide. Nikolas was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who provided fantastic communication via e-mail and WhatsApp. During our journey, we learnt so much about Greek history and mythology. He treated us to freshly squeezed orange juice and Greek coffee. Our time at the beach was beautiful and the scenery unforgettable - Nikolas helpfully provided sea mats. We had such a fun time. Temple of Poseidon at sun set was breathtaking! He managed my son’s food allergies extremely well when we had dinner. In fact, he was very welcoming to both our children. We ate traditional Greek cuisine - simply the best food we had during our stay in Athens. I highly recommend this tour!

Friendly trip to the Beach, the temple, and great food - what's not to love?! - Had an excellent day out. This tour felt more like visiting a friend to take you out to see some of their favourite places in their home town. The beach was fantastic. The temple was cool and the information/story of its origin was interesting; enough even to entertain my two kids (8,10). Lunch and coffee stops were both so tasty! Very glad we chose this tour, it was a highlight of our trip to Athens.
