• Herod Atticus Odeon - The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theatre on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece.

• Arch of Hadrian - A classic Triumphal Arch built by the Ancient Athenians for the Roman Emperor Hadrian, seen alongside the Temple of Zeus in the same area.

• Temple of Olympian Zeus - A colossal temple in central Athens dedicated to the god Zeus, once home to one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World.

• Hellenic Parliament - We will proceed to Syntagma’s main square to observe the changing of the Presidential guard in front of the Greek Parliament. You will see the Evzones in their traditional attire, and your private tour guide will explain the significance of each part of their costumes.

• Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - Witness the changing of the Presidential guard in front of the Greek Parliament.

• National Library of Greece - The National Library of Greece is located near the center of Athens. Designed by Danish architect Theophil Freiherr von Hansen, it is part of his renowned Trilogy of neo-classical buildings, including the Academy of Athens and the original Athens University building. It was founded by Ioannis Kapodistrias.

• The Academy of Athens - The Academy of Athens is Greece’s national academy and the highest research institution in the country. Established in 1926, it operates under the Ministry of Education’s supervision. The Academy’s main building is a major landmark in Athens.

• National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - Founded on May 3, 1837, by King Otto of Greece, the University of Athens was initially named Othonian University. It was the first university in the liberated Greek state and the surrounding Southeast Europe region.

• Mount Lycabettus - Mount Lycabettus, also known as Lycabettos, is a Cretaceous limestone hill in Athens. At 277 meters (908 feet) above sea level, its summit is the highest point in Central Athens, with pine trees covering its base. The name also refers to the residential neighborhood below the hill’s east side.

The hill is a popular tourist spot and can be ascended via the Lycabettus Funicular, a railway that climbs the hill from a lower terminus at Kolonaki (the station is on Aristippou street). At its two peaks are the 19th-century Chapel of St. George, a theatre, and a restaurant. From Lycabettus hill, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the city.

• Panathenaic Stadium - Our tour continues at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the modern Olympic Games began in 1896. Also known as the “Kallimarmaro” stadium, it is one of Athens’ highlights, where the classic Marathon ends and the only stadium in the world made entirely of marble.
• Acropolis Museum - The Acropolis Museum was established to display all significant finds from the Sacred Rock and its foothills. Upon entering the museum, look through the plexiglass floor to see the ruins of an ancient Athenian neighborhood, which has been artfully incorporated into the museum’s design.
