Wonderful tour of the Acropolis, Parthenon and Museum - We had the pleasure of being on one of the classical Athens tours of the Parthenon followed by a tour of the new Acropolis Museum that’s located conveniently nearby. Both were conducted by a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. It was all topped off with a wonderful lunch at one of the tavernas in the vicinity. I would highly recommend Ancient Greece tours and transfers to any would be explorers that would love to see any part of the historically stunning country that Greece proved to be. Their professionalism and service was greatly appreciated.

Fantastic day - Athens full day tour with the best. - We had an incredible time exploring Athens with Ancient Greece Tours! Our private tour was personalized to our interests, and our guide George was so knowledgeable about the city's rich history. From the majestic Acropolis to the charming streets of Plaka, every moment felt like stepping back in time. Lycabettus hill was breathtaking , looking down at Athens wow! Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We really enjoyed the Dionysos restaurant as well. Highly recommend this day tour.

Perfect Day in Athens - We had an amazing day in Athens during our cruise. Giannis picked us up at the port, took us to all the important stops we wanted to see, and even arranged a wonderful lunch for us. I highly recommend a private tour over the big bus tours. We were able to see everything we wanted to see and had great conversation as well. Thank you Giannis for a wonderful day!

Great tour and Guide! - We had one full day to explore Athens before our cruise, so we chose this tour. Our guide, Dimitris, seriously was the best and set up a great itinerary for our day. He was very punctual, polite and damn funny! I highly recommend Dimitris and Ancient Greece Tours & Transfers.

Amazing time in Athens - Our tour guide Dimitris made our visit in Athens most pleasurable. He was informative and funny, very accommodating. Eva, who took us around the Acropolis, was also very nice. She made our Greek history lessons very interesting.

Giannis is an Excellent Tour Driver - The four of us had a great time with Giannis as our private driver to the Acropolis and Pantheon. We have a handicapped person with us and Giannis was very attentive to her needs and getting us as close as possible to our site entrances. He is very knowledgeable and told us a lot about Athens history. We also visited the Acropolis Museum and the National Archeological Museum. Then Giannis drove us to the highest point in Athens for spectacular views of the entire city. He is an excellent and safe driver and is very professional and excellent at his job. We really appreciated Giannis being our driver guide today that we scheduled him for tomorrow as well.

Excellent Guide - Our guide Michael was excellent. He was very easy to communicate with, very accommodating to our requests, and was able to help us make last minute modifications to ensure our day in Athens was perfect. He provided us with useful information about every site we visited and was timely throughout the day as he allowed us time to explore the city. Would absolutely recommend this company for any transportation or guide needs in Athens.
