The best tour with Vicky! - Vicky is a great guide and her Spanish is perfect. In addition to explaining in detail the sites we visited, he always had time to answer our questions about the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and all the places we visited or passed by during the walk... we didn't even care the heat or the crowds. We enjoyed every moment and learned a lot!

Great tour with Kate! - Must do this tour early bc the liens get really long and it’s HOT in Athens. Kate gave us a private walking tour of the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum. It’s was HOT but we found shady spots to talk and look. Kate amazed us with the depth and breadth of her knowledge. She spoke of the long history of the Acropolis, the associated myths and architecture. Really a worthwhile trip to learn of the rich Athenian history and culture. I highly recommend.

Excellent Walking Tour with Eli! - Our small group of 4 had an incredible 5 hour private walking tour with Eli in October 2022. We began with the artifacts displayed at the metro station and visited a few government buildings including the changing of the guard at Parliament. Eli expertly navigated us through crowds at the Acropolis and even found a few out of the way spots for us to sit while she informed us of the incredible site's history in an easy to understand way. She gave us time to walk a bit by ourselves, take pictures and rest. We ended the tour at the Acropolis Museum where Eli again gave us the history of the artifacts and sculptures displayed throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with Eli - thank you!

Athens Walking Tour was simply magnificent - Let mention, the Athens Walking Tour Company took care of us. They assisted me with a private car pick up at the Port of Piraeus from our cruise. The taxi driver was named G. (name is hard to spell) He was very nice and maintained an informative dialogue with us (thank you G) on our ride to meet our guide Effi. Our guide was professional, enthusiastic, very informative. She showed us more than we expected and it was not rigorous, the weather was fantastic. She secured our entrance tickets to some of the archeological sites and museums, this was perfect as we did not have to wait in line. At this time we simply had lunch while waiting for her return. We had a great time with our guide. Athens Walking Tour was simply magnificent from the beginning of the booking stage to the last minute Port changes, to the very end in making sure we had a great time and was taken care of. To the TOP, with the TOP. - Thank you for such an informative and excellent tour of this beautiful Athens landmark. This location is about a 10 min walk from anywhere to their location. We took a cab. They might be able to arrange a taxi pickup for you if you ask. The operator is awesome. I've been working with Kostas over the phone from the USA for about 2 years. Making and canceling reservations due to Covid19. They were more than happy to make changes and accommodate us, everytime. When I finally made it to Athens it was like seeing family. The greeting was a expected, great. Our guide was Ana. We were in a group of about 10-20 people. A nice small group compared to other operators. We started our walk from the shop, about a 10 mins to the Acopolis. We made our first stop, where she gave us a bunch of information and also a good rest stop. She was very knowledgeable and kept a close eye on everybody. She made sure that we all had plenty of rest stops and were OK to continue the long walk up hill. No lie, this was quite a hike. I had no idea. Yea, this is a challenging hike but this is a must do. She made plenty of stops always giving us more information at every point. When we finally made it to the top, it gave you a great idea of what the people of that time, kinda, went through. We didn't have to carry any granite or stones or anything that they had to, luckily. There is water at the top. You have earned the right to drink from this wonderful water supply. (For the older and impaired people, there is a secret elevator to go down, shush. ) The site is magnificent and breath taking. Acropolis means edge of the city(?). Where they could see everything from the top of the mountain and can be seen by everybody below. You can see why they picked this site. You must come and see this site and you should use this operator. They are awesome. The guides are the best. (I heard some of the others guides. One group even made their people do push-ups at the top. No lie. ) After our trek down, we went to the museum. They have a coat check and you can check your bags and anything you don't want to carry, for free. Once inside, All I can say is WOW. The artifacts are amazing. The guide walked us through the whole museum and even showed us a nice little display at the end that others who are on their own or on bad tours, would never know. We arranged, at the end of everything, to have lunch at an authentic Greek restaurant. They booked a reservation at one of the restaurants at the bottom/end of our walk. They again, made a fantastic choice. These guys are too notch. Have a great walk and say hello for me. Enjoy.

Acropolis & museum tours - Kate was a fabulous tour guide. Was considerate and courteous during our scorching walk up to The Acropolis. She was full of great information that told us all about the history and myths of the Greek people. The museum tour she also pointed out all the important history. Thank you Kate

Our private tour visit to the Acropolis - The private tour was nice since it was just 4 of us and the guide. The guide was Nikoletta who had a lot of nice stories and information for the Acropolis and Museum. She did a nice job of not overwhelming with information but giving enough to be interesting. The 8am tour took a long time to get in line to get into the Acropolis area and then a very long time to get to the top of the Acropolis. This allowed tons of people to get to the top of the Acropolis before us so it was very crowded by the time we got up there. Would be a better experience to get to the top quickly since it was first thing in the morning and then do the leisurely stories on the way down I think. All in all a good experience, but its always going to be a zoo up there so you have to be prepared for the crowds.
