Highlights
  • Poros - First stop, is the port of Poros where our stay is for 1 hour. Poros is the island of peace, romance and jauntiness. Walk across the town and discover the city hall, the archeological museum and head towards the highest point of the island, to discover the historical and famous clock tower.
  • Hydra - Next stop is the cosmopolitan Hydra where the cruise ship remains for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Hydra is a very popular island because of its extremely picturesque capital, full of red-tiled houses and stone-paved narrow alleys. The traditional means of transportation that you can find on the island, its donkeys, will make you fall in love with it at first sight.
  • Aegina - Last stop, is the famous island of Aegina which is the biggest island of the Saronic gulf and well known for its great production of colorful pistachios, the Temple of Afaia and the monastery of Saint Nektarios. We stay at the port of Aegina for around 2 hours. There is enough time to enjoy your coffee and the famous pistachio sweets at the beautiful port or discover its hidden treasures. After sailing back to port you’ll be transferred to Athens.

Great trip - Really great experience, highly recommended for people who enjoy adventures and would like to open their minds to new things. The people who work on the cruise are also very helpful and I enjoyed their company.

Excellent - Excellent experience, very organized, on time, the services of the VIP sector excellent, I highlight the careful attention of Alex, always attentive and cordial. The Georgina guide excellent, explaining throughout the journey and always attentive to the needs. Beautiful views on all three islands.

One Day Cruise Hydra, Poros and Aegina. - I chose this tour after a cruise to visit the smaller islands and see what Greek life was about. The ship is old, but has been remodeling and is extremely comfortable. The staff was very good and friendly. The food was good. The time spent on the ship is in the range of 6-7 hours so to bring a book or something to do while you’re traveling on the ship would be a good idea. They also offer multiple excursions that you can do. They might be helpful in certain ports. Unfortunately, the time spent in some of the ports is too short to really do anything but still cool to look around. Over a good experience.

Best cruise ever until the end - Everyone going to Athens should consider this cruise. If others do book this tour the only way to go is VIP. My friend and I are so happy we booked it VIP. We got ushered on and off the ship first, well except when the cruise was done. We had to get off the ship on our own which was not great. Everyone that was not VIP cut in front of us only because we were not taken off the ship by a member of the crew and we don't know what happened there. The tour itself was good though and we still would recommend this tour. I just wanted to let the crew know that we appreciated the 1st class treatment, well until the end when we had to wade through the crowds of people. The service was good up to this point.

VIP is the only way I would take this trip. - The VIP was delivered as said. We had a nice quiet area away from the crowd and very comfortable travel via couches instead of lawn chair seats. Food was fine, plenty of beverages. The only sad part and why not 5 stars is that the voyage there on the boat to each island is way too long and we only get sometimes 45 minutes at the island, barely enough time to get off the boat. A ferry from Athens only takes 2 hours to get to the same island Hydra that took us 3 hours to arrive to, very strange. That would have given us more time on each island if they would speed up the boat like a normal ferry ride. I think we lost almost 2 hours of time we could have spent on the islands vs time sitting in the boat.

Great Experience - Opting for VIP on this cruise was the best decision. We enjoyed a private room for relaxation while sailing the Aegean Sea. The food was decent, and the service was impeccable, making us feel truly pampered. The only downside was not having more time to spend on Hydra.

Not 5 star - Cannot highly recommend. No value in paying high price for VIP experience. Lunch was not a proper Greek salad and mains was disappointing with pasta and rice and this strange fatty fish. The chicken and potatoes were ok. The decor needs attention with seat material worn and marked. The redeeming feature was the two genuine lovely ladies working conscientiously to make our trip special. For the VIP treatment they should at least offer one free alcoholic drink. Disappointed for someone who has travelled from Australia.

Not worth the money. Better options are available. - A good way to spend the day. However lacking in what was promised. Never met the Captain and no WiFi in the vip section. Both are stated as “perks” of the vip experience. Never happened. Was lied to by staff saying WiFi was going to be on in the next ten minutes for the whole trip. It’s funny that people using credit cards to pay, transactions went through. 45 min for the second stop way too short. Just enough time to get off the boat stretch your legs and get back on. No time to see anything. The enjoyment was basically cruising. The islands were an afterthought to the company. At the end our driver to return us to our hotel, was nowhere to be found. Overall an ok experience however I believe if you can find a better option go with it. If on a budget it will do in a pinch.
