Makes getting around Athens’ key spots a breeze. Heads up! Acropolis a little zoo’ish with cruise ship passengers. - Made getting to know Athens key treasures easy. it got me around everywhere I wanted to go, including the beaches. I stopped at one delightful Beach and had just about the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. Without rushing and when I was done, I simply hopped back on the bus which took me back close to my apartment in Athens. Had I plan to head better, I could’ve had a delightful swim to the heavenly lunch. And still hopped the bus back to Athens with plenty of time to spare.

Great way to see Athens. - The hop on, hop off bus was great. An easy way to explore athens and get a good feel for what's around the city. We lost a cell phone and were very happy that the company found it and returned it to us. That was such a relief. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Great way to see the city - A great way to see the city and pick what to do. WiFi didn't work on all the buses and the audio wasn't great. Really enjoyed heading to the beach on the bus.

Better than walking, but still have little knowledge of Athens and it's history. - Comfortable seats. Great views. Would have been helpful to know what we were looking at. Found discarded map on floor, but driver wasn't overly interested in explaining anything. Were not given earphones, but found discarded and tried, but minimal information on the stations that worked.

Decent Service But Need to Fix the Sound System and Air Conditioning - The bus routes for all the firms are basically the same, so we chose those one because it is locally owned and therefore prices more competitively. The downside is the sound system is not well maintained and we had to move seats 4 times to find two working sound systems in the same seat. The commentary is filled with lots of numbers that mean nothing to a tourist and it repeats itself multiple times, is usually talking about something that you can’t see. The air conditioning wasn’t working very well because the air filters in the back of the bus were all clogged with dust/grime from months of accumulation. It’s an okay experience, but I wouldn’t do it again.

Avoid unless you enjoy getting stressed and lost - We took the bus from Piraeus port, it took ages to pay via card machine so we paid cash eventually and the poor lady taking payments clearly hated her machine. Then when we arrived back at the acropolis to catch our bus back to the port it was chaos. The 3 young ladies in charge were stressed and gave everyone different information about which bus to catch. We joined a coach going to Piraeus only to find it was actually going back into Athens so the lady has sent a full bus to the wrong destination. We jumped off a took a taxi which cost 35 euros and took about 15 minutes. I would not recommend

Bad experience - Waited for 2 hours and the bus never showed up despite standing correct place. Then at the end one of them showed up but did not stop
