Great experience - The views were amazing and Grant had plenty of information about the local areas. The first track of the walk at Wai-O-Tapu was the best part of that experience. Highly recommend.

Hobbiton and Rotorua- Best Trip - John was our tour guide and he has a huge sense of humor! We enjoyed the day trip with a lot of information shared by John. He was so kind to drop us off at our hotel at the end of the tour, instead of at the pick-up location. One of the big plus is that the pickup was right on time and our tour guide also gave us some snacks during the trip. Overall, we’re really satisfied with the trip organized by Cheeky Kiwi Travel!

A fun tour - Had a great time on the tour. Hobbiton is definitely the highlight and a must see if you visit Auckland. Glad we didn't go during the busy season. There were plenty of crowds even in the off season. Wai-O-Tapu was interesting.

Well organized tour - Our tourguide, Grant was the best. Kind, funny and extremely prepared with facts and trivia. There were no delays, the tour was very well-organized, allowing enough time to watch the two attractions and we also had sufficient 10-15 min breaks during the trip to grab breakfast and have a quick lunch. The van was also comfortable. Thanks Grant and Cheeky Kiwi for this memorable day!

Beautiful Tour - Better than expected. I thought we would be dropped off at the location and have X amount of time to walk it ourselves but a guide took us through the entire village and explained about how the location was discovered, how the land was changed and what filming was like. Beautiful gardens and lush landscapes, they put a lot of effort on making the place look like a real fairytale. The geothermal place was great because you can choose how much hiking you want to do and which trails to take.

An amazing experience! - What an amazing experience! The day started with a 2 hr drive to Hobbiton with Greg providing a great narrative of the history of the area. Our Hobbiton tour was well paced and our guide Hayden provided a great narrative of the movie set. Enjoyed a snack and drink at the Green Dragon. We then headed to Rotorua to see Wai-O-Tapu. What an amazing place! A very unique experience. We then did a driving tour of Rotorua. Although it was a long day, it was well paced and well worth it!

Please, please tell people ahead of time all the places they can get lunch - This is a full day tour with nothing included in the description about WHEN or where you can get lunch. I found out by reading other peoples' reviews that the best time and place is the Green Dragon pub after the Hobbiton tour. They have delicious meat pies and a couple of other items. Overall, the tour and guide provided us with a good experience. The 15 minute drive around Rotorua doesn't warrant a headline in this tour and I disliked the lake stop just to say we'd been there. I suggest you drop that entire part and give us more time to explore the thermal area which is a great attraction. Alessando was very good, witty and an enjoyable guide.
