Best ecperience to get an overview of Auckland CBD - The history behind the war memorial and the entire trop gave a good overview of the city which put things into perspective for our group.

Good bet to see some of Auckland - A day of hop on hop off did not do justice to all that Auckland had to offer but was clearly a good way for us to get some feel of this largest city in NZ.

Would do it again/ wish more historical sights - Was disappointed with the short tour. Xould have gone by a few more historic buildings and landmarks.

Great little addition to the trip! - Easy and informative. Apparently I bought. 48 hour pass I didn’t realize. If I had known I would have planned better and I could have used it more but great value for your money.

Good trip - The buses were frequent, making a quick photo stop really easy. The drivers were friendly and the commentary gave you a good idea about the points of interest.

It’s a great way to get around without a car and then decide how you want to spend the rest of your trip - Being able to hear the description very well. I have been on them before where I was unable to hear anything or just intermittently because it was too low

Auckland quick tour - It’s a good tour. But the wintertime bus does not cover the whole route. So you can miss Mount Eden and a few more attractions. We took a full-day Auckland tour a day before so it was ok for us. For a short time, it is a good tour.

Great way to get around - We enjoyed using the Explorer bus as our way to get around whilst stopping in Auckland for a few days. We got the 48hr ticket. The drivers were all friendly, and the stops were all well positioned to see the sights. There could be more commentary played, but it served its purpose.

Great way to orient yourself to a new city! - I'm always glad to find a hop on/off. Some cities are definitely better than others. I liked the route. However, I found myself waiting at least 20 mins for the bus at every stop. This could be due to the fact Auckland is after all a big city and lots of people and traffic. I've done this in other big cities and I don't remember having long-ish wait times.

Ok experience. - Always use hop on hop off tours in every city I visit. Disappointed with Auckland, didn’t seem to get a real feel for the city. I wish I would have taken a city tour instead. Buses were on time as scheduled. Drivers were friendly.
