Additional Information

Conducted every 30 minutes, our guided tours are engaging and packed with useful information. An experienced tour guide will initially acquaint you with the adult emus and ostriches. You will find out about the impressive speed of the ostrich as well as other measures it takes to evade its predators. You will be both amused and amazed learning about their mating, rearing, and feeding lifestyle. You even get the chance to feed these audacious creatures by hand. Be careful though! Given that ostriches are perpetually hungry, if you have food with you, you might find yourself circled by a flock of inquisitive animals.

Ostrich Farm - We did the tour without the lunch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job keeping our group together. We loved getting to learn more about all of the animals!

Unique must do experience - This place is awesome. A must do. The tours leave every hour and they are about 35 minute walking tour. The tour guide takes you on a guided tour and it is very educational. It cost $15 per adult and is worth it. You get to see many ostriches and take many pictures with them and also you can pet them. You get to feed a pair of ostriches with a bowl and the tour guide will take a picture and video of your family feeding them. Also, you get to do a second feeding of one ostrich that you can feed with your hand and again you can take many pictures. I even got to feed him twice. Be warned that with hand feeding the Ostrich, it has a sharp beak and once the food starts to finish you feel like pinch in your hand from their beak. My daughter and I got a red pinch mark from the feeding. We combined this with Baby Beach - we did the 10 am tour then we drove to Baby Beach and spent the day there.

Great time! - The tour was great and Harold was very informative and answered all our questions. He took photos of everyone feeding the ostriches and had a great dry sense of humor! We did feed an ostrich out of our hands, they do pinch you a bit but it was worth it! The food we had for lunch was also delicious! - I saw some reviews complaining they ask for a tip but almost every tour we went on they asked the group for tips after. So I don’t see any issue with that.

Great experience in Aruba - Great experience ! We stumbled upon the Aruba ostrich farm on the way to the national park. The tour guide was great and let us spend a lot of time with the ostriches and emus! Fun experience with great smoothies to boot!

Love these crazy birds! - This tour was one of my favorite things from Aruba. The ostriches are so fascinating to watch and the tour guide was very informative! I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did. My two teenage daughters felt the same—well worth the trip there!

Great - I had an exclusive guide for me, in Spanish, as the rest of the group was from the Empire. Tatiana was fantastic, taught me a lot about ostriches and showed all her knowledge.

Horrible pushy man for tips - This was a horrible experience. There is no shade and the tour guide walks you around to three different pens telling you facts about the ostriches. That was the good stuff. The bad is that he makes an obnoxious comment at the your conclusion about how we can all afford to give him tips and before he would take us back he will wait for them thank you. He then just stood there with his hat out until people felt so uncomfortable they have him money. We all then had to work out how to get back as he did not escort us due to him trying to get more tips out of those left behind. Awful experience I would not recommend this to anyone.

Poor customer service - We booked using viator and our tour should’ve included lunch. When we got to the site no one greeted us, everyone went by doing their own thing. We ordered 2 smoothies which were prepared and brought to us, only then we were told there were no straws. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, the only good thing about this place. When we got back from the tour we sat down waiting. Again no one said anything to us so I decided to inquire about the lunch. I was told by the store clerk that she had to send a picture to her manager because sometimes they get fake viator. We waited patiently for her to get a response after which she came back and said “ next time you come for a tour come straight to the store and let us know that you’re gonna have lunch” She went on to show us the menu on a blackboard. At this point I was over it so I told her next time it would be good if someone had sone customer service and greeted the guests and let I know what to expect. I told her have a nice day we’ll pass on the lunch.
