Experience the captivating Troodos mountains, a location that is a quintessential part of any trip to Cyprus. Our journey takes us on an unconventional path with our rugged 4x4 Land Rover defenders. We pause in charming rural hamlets to interact with the inhabitants and delve deeper into the Cypriot culture, history, and customs. Over the course of the day, you’ll witness awe-inspiring mountain peaks, cascading waterfalls; if the conditions are right, guests might have a chance to splash in the pristine waters, and freshwater lakes hidden in untouched landscapes. We take a break at a local family-owned restaurant where you can savour a traditional Cypriot meze, in a stunning mountain village. And of course, the day wouldn’t wind up without a stopover at a local winery.

Great day out for all - Lovely wine tasting. Nice fresh fish in local restaurant. Great experience for the whole day. Well informed guide. Enjoyed bumping around in Land Rover off road . Lots to see and do . Cooled down in water fall.

Super beautiful!! - It was a really nice experience with our Jeep driver Toni! He brought us so much closer to his culture through his stories during the trip! We were also driven to the Blue Lagoon and the Love Bridge where we could even swim. But the highlight was really Toni!! He was so friendly and funny!! :)))))

Nice experience, great trip. Space in vehicle very tight. - Great landscape, small group. Pickup at hotel worked perfectly. Regular stops at interesting places. Backoffice of the operator very helpful (Viator app caused a double booking). Driver gave a lot of background information. Landrover with 8 customers is very tight, especially for tall people. There is no airconditioning.

It gets very hot in the jeep!! - Really wanted to give this a better review but alas, I can't. The big problem is the jeep. It doesn't have air con so the windows are kept open. Possibly in the cooler months this wouldn't be a problem, but in 37oC heat and driving at 100km down the motorway for 1 hour, it feels like hot air is blowing in your face. It felt, to put it bluntly and honestly, horrible. The family behind us had mentioned that their young boy felt sick and it may have been from sitting at the back where you feel more of the bumps off-road, but I suspect the heat contributed substantially. The day itself is a whole day, with 7:45 pick up from your hotel and drop off at 18:00. A few stops about 15-30 min each so you get plenty of toilet breaks. We stopped off at a lovely church and a waterfall. The off road bit before the waterfall was fun, especially with a view from the front seat. The guide was nice and provided info on history etc. He wasn't too pushy on making sure we were back to the jeep on time at the stops. I quite liked the winery, though I don't drink wine. You get to sample six wines. One was a dessert wine which was really nice and we brought it for a friend. I think the day could be reduced by a couple of hours by removing a stop of two, and getting back at 16:00 instead. Overall, I would suggest avoiding this tour in June, July and August when its average 35oC, particulary if you are sensitive to heat. You spend most of the day sat in the jeep without air con, and it makes for an unpleasent experience that could make you feel quite ill by the end of the day.

Can't recommend - We were driven again and again to the cafes where we min. 20 min, and at the few sights we had max. 10 min time (e.g. Orthodox church). For restaurant was stopped somewhere on the road, on the outskirts, where we got 1.5h to eat! I would rather have invested this time in a walk and bought a sandwich on the way. Next to this restaurant, however, was dead pants. Overall we hardly saw anything, because of the waterfall I would certainly not take this trip again. Finally we were taken to a winery, the wine there cost more than in the supermarket next door (the same wine). Of the small villages we have seen nothing, extremely intrusive everything (restaurant, cafes). We felt that we were driven to the seats where the driver got a commission (in the winery this was 100% the case, our purchases were paid very openly and he got the appropriate bottle). 2 stars are for the fact that the jeep was filled with 8 people. The other vendors stuff 10 people in and it's really tight and stuffy there.
