Excellent Day Tour to Alexandria - I took this trip as a solo traveler & was alone for the tour. Overall I thought this was very well organized and a great experience. I would definitely go on this again! The driver Mahamoud picked me up in front of my Airbnb in Cairo right on time @7:30am. He spoke some english which was great. He then drove the 2.5 hrs to Alexandria where we met Aya, the guide at the Alexandria Library. Aya then stayed with me for the day in Alexandria while the car took us from stop to stop. Aya is from Alexandria was an excellent guide & very personable. She does the Alexandria tour most days, and really seems to enjoy it. I loved the Roman ampitheater & associated ruins. The catacombs were awesome too! We stopped for lunch at the "Fish Market" restaurant which seems to get every tour group in Alexandria to stop there. The food was good & the view & ambiance were great. This will cost you 700 EGP for yourself & guide.. driver was free. I'm sure if you wanted to go somewhere else, you could request it. After lunch we went to the Quaitbay castle, walked around it taking pictures, then went to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque which is fantastic. Aya took me in the mens entrance & explained it to me. I loved the overall vibe of the city and the long curved oceanfront is gorgeous. After the tour, we dropped Aya off and I was back at my Airbnb in Cairo at 6:45pm. Mahmoud's driving was excellent, the car was nice, and he was very pleasant to be with. What I liked best about this was Aya fun & knowledgeable and was willing to go at whatever pace I wanted and as soon as we wanted to move on, Mahmoud showed up with the car & we were off.

Solo women traveling - As my experience as a solo women traveling from Cario to Alexandria, it was great the tour guide knows a lot an explained very clear and kindly responded all my questions. Also, the person in charge was really helpful at all time and really kind. He detailed all the touristic places and how the tour logísticas was going to be. I did this trip alone, and didn’t have any problem with either of them. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Trip to Alexandria - As a solo female traveller, this was one of the best travelling experiences I have had in Egypt. Ahmed ensured that the trip was well-organised from the start. He was available over the phone for the entire duration of the trip in case of any issues (there were none!). The ride to Alexandria was extremely safe and comfortable, and Mina, who was a very patient driver was at my pick-up spot way ahead of time. Once there, I met my incredible, very knowledgeable tour guide, Aya. She took me to some beautiful places around the city, including the Library of Alexandria, the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and the Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi. We stopped for lunch at Fish Market, a fantastic seafood restaurant with an amazing view of the harbour. The tour continued until evening, and Aya did her best to show me as much of the city as possible. She added her personal touch to the tour by sharing stories of her own life in the city, and was very kind to take my pictures everywhere we went. It was like exploring the city with a wonderful friend! I would be glad to do this trip again the next time I visit Alexandria, as well as explore other tours offered by Narmer Tours. Highly recommend! Thank you, Ahmed, Aya and Mina for an unforgettable experience! :)
