Gorgeous Tour around Bacalar Lagoon - After chatting with the local sales people, we decided to check online to compare offers. We search for the best lagoon tour and this website popped up immediately with 5 stars rating. We really liked that this tour offered 3 hrs long tour, which included plenty of swimming time in the lake, healthy snacks and drinks (fresh cucumber/lime water and beer). In addition to the overwhelming number of good reviews, this tour company lets you use their kayaks and paddle boards after the boat tour ends. We had a great experience with the friendly tour captain Jose "El Banda", he made sure we had a great time! We did not regret making our trip to enjoy the beautiful lagoon with the folks at Daytour Bacalar.

Perfect day - We had a wonderful experience with Jose Banda and enjoyed the boat ride and there stops. It was an overcast day for half of the day and the water was still so magnificent!

Wonderful experience with Daniel as guide! - This morning we did a boat trip on the Lagoon of Bacalar from 8am to 11am. Daniel was our guide, he spoke good English, as we had booked. It was an amazing experience and very rewarding, especially in the early morning. It is not allowed to swim with sunburn, this to protect the Lagoon, the more an early boat trip is nice so that you do not come back completely burned. We found the tour more than worthwhile and certainly with Daniel as tour guide. When we were swimming we asked him to take a picture of us, he was happy to do this for us. When the sun broke through moments later he took the initiative to take pictures and videos of us! In other words; do when you are in Baccalar and ask for Daniel as your guide!
