A wonderful tour of the National park - Our tour guide was amazing! We were the only couple from Dresden and she drove out personally to pick us up. The hikes were lovely with a small group of twelve. The views couldn’t be beat and the pace was very reasonable. Lunch was very tasty. My wife had venison goulash and i had the beef in garlic sauce and I can recommend both. We got chased off the final hike to the sandstone arch by bad weather but still had plenty of time to do what we needed to do. My only regret is doing the tour on four hours of sleep after a Rammstein concert! Don’t hesitate to book, these guys are great and will take care of you.

A day well spent - It was a great day. First off, this is not a stroll through the woods. Parts of these hikes can be strenuous and you need to be able to walk uphill for a good, long while. The scenery was very pretty and the views were great. It is an all day adventure, but well worth the time.

Unforgettable journey in the forest with a friendly Czech grandpa - I was picked up promptly at my hotel in Dresden by Míra, the guide for the day. Míra is a warm and friendly Czech grandpa who speaks English, Spanish, Czech and more. Even though we were the only two guests from Dresden, he still came all the way from the Czech Republic to pick us up and drive us to and from the national parks. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and knows how to optimally route guests for the best views throughout the day. Speaking of views, these views are mindblowing and definitely something you have to see in person to believe. The hike was not super challenging and Míra was very patient with folks who needed a bit more time -- "after all, you are on holiday" -- as he says. Lunch at the Czech restaurant was super tasty! We had goulash, grilled fresh caught local trout and Czech beer. Ample water and snacks are available for when you need them. It was great meeting other people on the tour as well; we were joined by guests from all over the world. Please book this tour, you will remember the views and the good company for the rest of your life. And do it with Cayman Travel, they are a small company with top notch service!

The journey wasn't too long and our guide and driver was friendly. Value for money! You'll need to hike a little! Highly recommended.

Personalized experience - Booked this tour to visit Bohemian Switzerland with my mom. Very easy scheduling, timely pickup, our tour guide had a great personality. Somehow it was just two of us that day so it was a luxurious experience. We’ve got to see everything at our pace and got to learn a lot from the guide. Thank you for a great tour!

It was truly a beautiful day trip. - It was a beautiful day trip. Beautiful weather too. Everything well arranged. What we did find a downside is the walking and climbing pace. It would be for the age group of 6 to 99 years. Well, that's really not realistic. I could keep up well, but my wife, and I also heard others, said the pace was really too fast.

Very happy I chose Cayman Travel - I booked the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Park Day Trip from Dresden directly from the company's website. Everything went smoothly. I was picked up at 8am by a lovely guide in a small black volvo who walked into the hotel lobby to find me (passengers from Prague got pick up in a van - no company logo on the car or van). Turns out the company will go ahead with running the tour even if only one person books, in order to not disappoint travellers (how nice is this! A contrast to other tour companies). They had extra bottles of water and snacks in case required (but really you should bring your own water/snacks for a hiking trip!)

Nice but requires physical effort - Trip was well organized and on time, really nice area, tour guide was great. Beware that you need at least moderate level of fitness as the trip has a lot of hiking with incline and decline as you climb and descend from the top.

Very difficult hikes for someone over 50 who is not an avid hiker - Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone looking at this tour. The description does not accurately describe the intensity involved. I am a 58 year-old nurse on my feet all the time and do lots of traveling, including all over Europe, where walking is a requirement. In the states I do leisurely hiking and I realized that this was going to be more than a leisurely hike. What I didn’t realize was the difficulty of it. It was described as a relaxing, moderate hike. It is an intense, multi terrain hike that requires good joints and lots of stamina. Myself and others were unable to complete the tour because of the difficulty. That being said if you are an avid hiker used to all terrain, able to climb down and up 1700 m over rocks and logs and stone steps that are slippery without railings in many places then this is the tour for you. The views are stunning. But for me they were not worth the stress it put on my body , it is also basically three hikes to look at pretty similar landscapes. Very little information given to us by our guides on what to expect or interesting facts along the ride from place to place. Not the kind of tour that I’m used to. Even the younger people on our tour who did complete all the hikes, did not seem thrilled at the end of the day with the experience. Most of our companions seemed to be drugging themselves through the day.
