The BEST day - We had the BEST day with Shore Thing Escapes. The crew consisting of Capt. Hall, Capt. Cardo, Capt. Jason, Que, Brano, JoJo, and Kovin was full of energy, always dancing and creating a super fun energy on board. They were super knowledgable about the area and the wildlife. We loved being able to interact with pigs, stingrays and turtles. The crew was attentive and helpful with anything we needed. It was definitely our favorite day of our 7 day trip to Atlantis.

Pink sand beach - The excursion was fabulous, especially the pink sand beach! The guides were wonderful. We also loved swimming with the pigs and feeding the sea turtles.

Great Tour and Great Crew!!! - We had our Exuma tour cancelled from another company for the prior day due to weather and they had no availability the next day. So they put us in touch with Shore Things. We planned for Exuma full day but due to rough seas and wind we ended up doing the full day to Harbor island/pink sand beach, snorkeling, pigs and other things. The bottom line is that this company was top notch. The crew was awesome. The next time I am in the Bahamas I will likely schedule two different full day trips (Exuma and Pink Sand Beach). We feed and played with the pigs. Feed, touched and literally picked up sea turtles while snorkeling, feed sting rays from our toes, let sting rays swim across our legs on sand bar island with swings, and visited pink sand beach. We ate lunch at a local restaurant on harbor island as well. They give you all the local beer and rum punch you want along with snacks. Captain tried his best to get to Exuma but when we had to turn back due to rough seas we were offered the other full day tour which had less wind in that direction. They refunded us due to it being a little less than Exuma. Bottom line, you can’t go wrong with this tour. It was the best part of our visit to the Bahamas. If you are on the fence, just book it. It’s worth the money.

Best memory of our trip! - Everyone in the family rated this a 10 out of 10. We went with our kids (7 and 9), and while the boat ride to the island took a while, the crew was so gracious and entertained us with fun music. The actual experiences are incredible and super memorable. Would definitely recommend!

Pigs, turtles, swings, golf carts, and a fabulous boat ride! - Things to bring to make your excursion more enjoyable: water shoes, shoes to walk around town in (I wore flip flops), towel, waterproof phone pouch (buy on Amazon), sunglasses, sunscreen (they don’t allow spray), wear your swimsuit. The guides are fun, you will enjoy this all day trip….. very fast cigarette-style boat that holds about 20 people. It is an hour each way to get to Eleuthera but it’s a fun ride and they play fun music to keep the vibe alive. Worthwhile trip with outstanding stops!

Beautiful view of the Bahamas & great crew! - We enjoyed this experience and what we were able to see throughout the boat ride. The captain and his crew were wonderful and very entertaining! They took us to many beautiful places where we were able to swim on the sandbar with stingrays, feed sea turtles, feed and swim with pigs and enjoy the beautiful pink sands beach on Harbour Island. In the morning, we had been picked up by their shuttle (which was very convenient) however, when we arrived at It's a Shore Thing, it seemed as though we were rushed and only had a few minutes for them to check us in and take our lunch orders. We barely had time to eat a breakfast Danish and pour a coffee (which was advertised as being included) before we were being told we had to board. Later, when we were on the boat, they began serving drinks, we found out we never received the refillable cup before departing. Therefore, we were unable to taste their rum punch or sky juice because we were never provided with the cups and they did not have any extra. In addition, lunch was advertised to be at Romora Bay Marina & Resort and we did not have lunch provided for us there. We traveled to a little place on the island and were provided with our lunch orders there. While we were at our lunch area, we had to pay extra for any drinks we wanted (they were not included as being advertised). In addition, it was also advertised that we would have a conch tasting salad during our trip, which we never received. There was a little mechanical trouble with the boat during our trip to the islands and on the way back we traveled through torrential downpour but the captain and the crew worked to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. Overall, I do recommend this trip because it provides an opportunity to see mayn beautiful islands/places in the Bahamas and the crew was amazing. However, the description of what was included was not clear and we also felt that we paid a decent price and were unable to enjoy all of the amenities that were advertised to come with our package.
