An interesting and friendly walk - I did this trip with Abdullah who communicated well to confirm times etc. There was the right amount of information given, not too much as sometimes is the case. Abdullah was an i te resting man who spoke to the 3 of us almost as if we were people he actually knew rather than people he was just spending a couple of hours with. We were given recommendations for places/food etc too which is always good. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully city tour of Baku. - Exploring Baku City by foot with Abdullah was a wonderful way to learn about the culture and history of this part of Azerbaijan. Abdullah was very engaging, approachable, hospitable, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend a tour with Abdullah.

Great tour, amazing guide! - Great tour! It was an individual tour, so very custom made for me given I already knew something about the region, with lots of personal touches and discussions. Abdullah is very knowledgeable, charismatic and is clearly super interested in Azerbaijani history and culture - we ended up walking for 5 hours, the time just flew by! A special highlight is an Armenian church, I really appreciated it being a part of the tour given the history, and was the main reason I chose this tour initially. All in all, highly recommend!

Most off beat city tour in baku - This truly was the most off beat city tour of baku. Abdullah added so much meaning and detail to the streets of the old city in Baku and a few other places with both historical and fresh perspectives. He walked with us, imparted his knowledge about everything in and out of Azerbaijan, shared stories and anecdotes, asked and answered questions, showed us a few hidden gems in Baku, explained the importance and historical value of so many structures and all of it in very clear , fluent and comprehensible English. He gave good recommendations for traveling in and around Baku. Would 100 percent recommend his tour in Baku.

The best city guide in Baku! Recommended fun and interesting guided city tour. - On this tour, Abdullah taught me so much about Azerbaijan as a country, the customs, was of life and culture as well as the culture and connection to neighbouring countries 🙏☺️ Abdullah was the most historically knowledgeable, funny and positive guide, connecting the city to things happening in the rest of the world since the beginning of the Persian Empire until now. He had an amazing storytelling and connected the city’s monuments and buildings to historical events, fun facts and local history. He is warm, friendly and helpful and has lots of good tips for what you can do and see in Baku and I recommend this tour for everyone from kids, teenagers to adults! The tour was in my opinion 10/10 and one of the best historical city tours I have been on 👏👏 He also recommended a delicious local dinner for me in advance of the tour and tips for what to do the next day. Abdullah is your go to guide and local 😃

A brilliant experience! - This was a great walking tour of the old parts of Baku city. The tour takes around 3 hours though we took a little more as we walked more leisurely and had long conversations with our guide at each of the "stops". Our guide, Mr Abdullah Chhab, was superb! He was passionate about history (we talked Baku, but also Iran, the Societ Union, and some other other history, including insights from Abdullah's personal background). He shared interesting snippets with us throughout the tour, not just on the historical context of the place but also on restaurants we could check out, and on local cuisine. He was fun to talk to, and ensured that we had a great time; he paced the tour well, and made the tour thoroughly enjoyable all. Thanks, Abdullah, and all the best for your future!
